haha! I think Malaysians have their own unique identity. I personally think we can embrace Malaysian English, but at the same time, we must also know how to speak English correctly.

i don't know how on earth could 'flaa' be the pronunciation of 'flour'.  so confusing.

We are Malaysians. Even Singaporean have their own Singlish.

What I trying to mean here is we don't have to follow those Americans' or Britains' accent.

Of course, we have to speak proper English depending on what situation we are in. For example in a job interview, of course we have to well equipped with proper English. For leisure talk with friends, broken English is okay.

flour

"Flour" - we pronounced as "flaa" is because the right pronunciation for "flour" is "flaa-wer", the "wer" is short and soft. But some malaysians mute the "wer"... so only heard "flaa"
