我租的房子的热水器坏了，我本身是sub-tenant所以反应给tenant关于热水器的事情。可是tenant和owner谈了之后，owner不愿意帮我们换热水器，说不是她的责任。可是我做了research, Residential Tenancies Act里面说到 all the things that the landlord provides to the tenant must be kept in working order, include 'electrical, plumbing or heating system'... If something no longer workers because of normal "wear and tear", the landlord must repair it so that it works properly, or replace it. 里面还说道如果landlord failed to do repairs or maintainence，我们能够report (to the court)。
我们都觉得report太严重了，可是我有叫tenant 跟owner说即使tenants agreement里面没有写到是谁负责任可是Residential Tenancies Act是applicable的。tenant告诉我如果拿law来跟owner谈的话她会更生气（她是老aunty), owner已经骂了tenant说我对你们已经很好了，你们还要来吵我要东西。。。== （其实这个月才刚起租金的说。。。）
想问问大家要怎么办，我们还能不能争取到热水器呢？因为另一个subtenants说如果要自己买的话她搬走时也要把热水器搬走（因为是她自己的property)
