EA signs new deal with Coldwood Interactive (Unravel) for new game
EA确定开发《Unravel》后续作

　　2015年E3游戏展首次对外公布的《Unravel》是一款特别的动作游戏，游戏不但采用了毛线小人作为主角，画面风格和使用冒险解开的谜题很受玩家喜爱，在刚刚结束的EA发行商投资会议上，该公司的副总裁表示，《Unravel》新作正在开发当中。

　　EA在会议上表示，将继续与开发《Unravel》的Coldwood Interactive展开合作，而合作的新项目就是“下一版《明朗》”。

Earlier this year, we released Unravel, a one-of-a-kind, physics-based puzzle platformer that captured the hearts of players around the world. The awesomely creative development team at Coldwood Interactive brought tiny, endearing Yarny to life. And since then, it’s been quite incredible to see the community’s love for Yarny, both in the game and beyond.

At EA, we love working with creative and passionate development teams, in our own studios and our partners. Which is why I’m very pleased to announce that we’ve signed a new agreement with Coldwood to work with them on their next project.

We don’t have any details to share right now, but we look forward to sharing more when the time is right. We could not be more excited to continue working with Martin Sahlin and the great team at Coldwood, and to see the next adventure they bring to life.

Update: Reached for comment, a representative for EA confirmed to Polygon that the agreement between Coldwood and EA "will be for the next Unravel."

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 ~ Next free major content update detailed
《植物大战僵尸：花园战争2》推免费DLC

　　创意总监贾斯汀·韦博透露，《植物大战僵尸：花园战争2》将在今年夏天免费推出DLC“僵尸大都会：第一部分 Zombopolis: Part One”。

　　在DLC“僵尸大都会”中，开发团队创造了迄今为止最大的僵尸城市。

　　“在僵尸大都会的街头，Zomboss博士和僵尸正在策划打造一个超级僵尸机器人Zombot，可能使植物的命运处于严重危险之中，”韦博说。

　　同时推出的还有两款新人物，有毒香柚Toxic Citron和早餐脑客Breakfast Brainz——后者是个披着腊肉披风的僵尸。此外也有超过1,200个自定义道具也加入了游戏当中。

EA成立“寒霜实验室” 研究VR、深度学习等

　　在近日举行的投资者说明会上，EA官方确认正投入人力以致力于探索未来科技的发展方向。该实验小组名为“寒霜实验室(Frostbite Labs)”，目前已经有30-40名成员在斯德哥尔摩和温哥华的两个办公地点投入对虚拟人类、深度学习、VR、AR等领域的探索。

　　EA工作室负责人Patrick Soderlund称寒霜实验室的成员都非常专业且具有天赋，他们所负责的长期项目将会对EA和游戏产业产生深远的影响。他们目前的一个开发方向是在VR中创造“虚拟人类(Virtual Human)”，也就是说，寒霜实验室的成员准备在VR的环境下创造一个可以令人感真正地感觉到存在感的人类角色模型。

　　此外，该实验室的另外一个研究方向是深度学习(Deep Learning)，这一研究的成果将直接的在未来的寒霜引擎中得到体现。届时，游戏的开发者可以把许多事务性的工作完全交给引擎本身去完成，自己可以更多的聚焦在游戏的玩法设计上。

　　Patrick Soderlund表示，他认为持续的推动创新是十分有必要的一件事情，EA必须勇于面向未来。这是公司的责任所在，而他相信EA拥有可以完成这一任务的优秀人选。

EA 确认集结多项极限运动新作品取消 《极速快感》团队将投入《星际大战》系列游戏开发

　　美商艺电（Electronic Arts, EA）今日确认《极速快感》开发商 Criterion Games 所构思的概念全新作品将取消制作，并将全力投入开发《星际大战》系列游戏。

　　EA 于 2014 年 E3 展前发表会中曝光一款结合直升机、吉普车、越野车、滑翔翼、飞鼠装等各项极限运动的全新作品，由《极速快感》开发商 Criterion Games 负责开发。



　　事隔两年的今日，国外游戏媒体 GameSpot 报导中指出 EA 向他们确认，该作品将不会推出，开发团队则将全力投入《星际大战》系列游戏，以及其 VR 版本的开发。
