经典PS3游戏《天剑》CG动画电影放出预告片

  PS3经典游戏《天剑(Heavenly Sword)》将推出CG动画电影了!电影的人物设计和画面感觉和游戏是相似的,从预告片来看,游戏中大气磅礴的战斗场面依旧会在电影中出现。我们也期待会有这部电影更多的消息。

Skullgirls Encore Coming to PS4 & PS Vita in 2014
欧美向2D格斗游戏《骷髅女孩 返场》登陆PS4


  欧美向2D格斗游戏《骷髅女孩:返场》确认将登陆PS4与PSV平台,并且还预定会支持PSV TV。游戏将收录全部的DLC角色、DLC关卡和剧情,此外还将增加“ALL PLAY”多玩家和收录大量插图的画廊模式。关于本作的推出时间与价格将会于近日正式公开,目前暂定是2014年内。下面就是本作正在开发中的对战视频与剧情插图:



Skullgirls Encore Coming to PS4 and PS Vita in 2014

Very little has been constant during Skullgirls’ two year existence — after all, the game has changed distributors and even developers. But one thing has stayed with us all this time: people asking us to bring the game to PS Vita and, more recently, PS4.

We read your comments, we took them to heart, and we’re finally making it happen: Skullgirls Encore will be coming to PS4 and PS Vita later this year!

The PS4 and PS Vita versions of Skullgirls Encore will be complete, including all of the DLC characters, stages, and story funded by Lab Zero’s Indiegogo campaign, as well as “All Play” multiplayer lobbies and an extensive art gallery.

Skullgirls Encore for PS Vita will also be playable on PlayStation TV, and support up to two local players using DualShock 3 or 4 controllers.

We’ll have more info on features and pricing as these exciting new versions get closer to launch.

Eliza Update

Those that have been watching our stream know that Eliza is coming along nicely, but we’ve gone ahead and put together a short video showing all of her (obviously unfinished) moves in action.

   


All of this is being tested now in our PC beta, so you can trust that she’ll be fun and balanced when she’s released on PS3 later this summer.

And here’s a sneak peak at Eliza’s story mode.




Eliza’s story mode is our biggest, deepest yet. Fans interested in Skullgirls’ story and lore will find a lot to enjoy here.

Beowulf and Robo-Fortune

At the Skullgirls Anime Expo panel, the Lab Zero team revealed a bit more about Skullgirls’ future, with Beowulf move concepts.

Beowulf is a wrestler, and will draw on all sorts of over-the-top wrestling moves. In addition to being a great grappler, he’ll also be able to throw his chair, The Hurting, and use it in interesting and strategic ways.

We’re just about to begin animation pre-production for Beowulf, so for now, take a look at a few of these early concept pieces!

At our Anime Expo panel we also revealed the final design of our new “remix” character, Robo-Fortune. We have a million ideas for palettes based on robots throughout games and anime — can you guess this one?

Unlike our April Fool’s “clone” character, Fukua, Robo-Fortune will be fully drawn over with her new design, and also feature new animations to make her look and feel significantly different from her flesh and blood counterpart.

A rendering error one of our artists Stefan experienced whilst working on our unannounced PS4 project caused this trippy sequence of colourful nonsense that simply begged to be shared in its full unedited glory... naturally only after we slapped some techno over the top of it.

The Future of Santa Monica Studio

Kinetica, God of War, Journey, Hohokum, and The Order: 1886 — these are just a few examples our studio’s strong internal and external legacy encompassing a broad spectrum of innovative and diverse titles. As we at Santa Monica Studio continue our odyssey to develop great games for PS4 (No hints!) both with our internal studio and our external dev partners, it seemed befitting to seek out a new unified studio logo. The goal — create a flexible identity for all of our games, a united banner for all we do.

Over one year ago, the creative process of developing our new studio logo began, bringing together team members across different departments of our studio to collaborate and engage in this journey. When you think about establishing a new brand identity, it is about more than an image, it is our promise to our fans that we will continue our tradition of inventive and exceptional games. Now, one year later, we are proud to reveal a logo that celebrates all of our games.




As you look upon this new emblem, though subtle the design may be at first glance, one cannot help but be pulled in to the compelling intricacy of its facets – our new logo is a dynamic ‘window’ into our games. The games we create at Santa Monica Studio become the very essence of who we are as a studio, and vice versa. Our games are the studio’s brand, and now our logo exemplifies who we are.

Our new logo, with its bold, simple structure can become a frame to the world of our games, filled with elements of the game such as key colors, textures, game content and screenshots. When you see the new animated logo boot up with our next external dev games such as Fat Princess: Piece of Cake and Hohokum, you’ll further understand how we crafted a mark that allows our games to visually become part of the brand.




The typography of our new logo is a custom designed font we’ve coined SMS “Vanguard.” It means a group of people leading the way in new development or ideas. As we leave our home of 15 years at Penn Station, and move in today to our new creative home, The Reserve, the very core meaning of our new logo takes on even more significance. We have an incredible future ahead for a new generation on PS4 under this new roof and with our external partners. Now we have a mark that will continue to evolve and expand with every new game from Santa Monica Studio.
