My boyfriend used to correct me in text messages when I spell something wrongly.
And this makes me feel so embarrassing every time when he correcting me =(
But that's the only way he could help me improve my English. My boyfriend possessed a very good English.

Another way to help you improve your English -- Less using short form. Try to type full sentence as possible. =)

Read more books. Magazines etc.
Reader's Digest is a good choice.
Don't complain that it's too expensive, that small book can really help.

Or if you really can't afford it, read english news online.
It's free anyway

frankly speaking, malaysia don hv the culture of using english. people around mainly from chinese backfround and basically mandarin is their first language... there might be a limited chance for us to use english in malaysia. seriously, i m currently studying in australia, using english everyday. however, my english can become bad when i back home for holiday, this is all because of the environmental there does not motivate me to speak english...
