在公布了SMM2011大赛将同时举行传统的DotA项目与新设立的星际争霸2：3V3项目之后，今天官方组委会终于对SMM2011世界总决赛的详细信息进行了公布，而值得注意的是，今年DotA项目的总奖金额度再创新高，约达25万人民币（RM 116500）
作为DotA界每年最受瞩目的大型线下赛事，SMM2011注定将会刮起一阵全新的DotA旋风。今年组委会为了让各支战队进行更好的备战，提前6个月便公布了SMM2011总决赛比赛的比赛场馆以及时间安排。SMM2011世界总决赛将在马来西亚首度吉隆坡举行，比赛场馆选在MidValley展会中心，这是整个大马最繁华的购物中心。比赛时间为12月2日至12月4日。届时来自全世界范围的众多顶级强队将汇聚一堂，为了DotA界的至高荣耀，展开激烈的争夺。中国战队能否再次登上世界之巅，让我们拭目以待
