i thought "realize" is british english? i guess we are supposed to follow british english but as american shows are popular nowadays, thus, we tend to mix more american english in our daily life heh

Been under the British education for so long,

English originally originated from the British I believe, personally I much prefer British English compared to American English because I find it more refined when compared to American English, not to mention most people worldwide use British English more frequently than American English in terms of writing and spelling.

i prefer british english. sounds sexier. but no matter what, malaysia applies british english because we were colonised by them last time.

Malaysia education system on English subject is prone towards England English rather than American English, due to the domination of English in Malaysia a few decades ago. So our spelling and some of the pronunciation show the influence of that as well.
