Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition gives players the complete Dark Souls III experience, bundling the critically acclaimed Dark Souls III together with both downloadable expansions; Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City into one incredible package for ￡44.99 on consoles and for ￡39.99 on PC.

Reborn as ash, players must make their way across the kingdom of Lothric in search of the risen Lords who have abandoned their duties to keep the age of fire continuing as the once powerful fire begins to fade. Players will traverse a multitude of lands including murky swamps, dank dungeons, opulent castles, and rickety shantytowns, a painted land, and the eventual end of the world, across their journey. A large cast of non-playable characters will be on hand to assist players with new spells, items and weapons to help overcome some of the most challenging bosses and fearsome foes in the Dark Souls series.

　　FromSoftware 近日公开了预定 2018 年 5 月 24 日发售的PS4、Xbox One、Nintendo Switch 和PC平台游戏《黑暗之魂（Dark Souls）》重制版的截图以及一些相关情报。

　　自2011年发售以来就受到了世界大量玩家们的狂热追捧，还在一定程度上影响了另外游戏的《黑暗之魂》系列第一作终于在次时代主机和PC上完成了重制！这就是即将于 2018 年 5 月 24 日发售预定的《黑暗之魂》重制版！

　　要说《黑暗之魂》系列魅力的话，那绝对是浓厚的黑色幻想世界观以及击倒强敌和完成探索的达成感！在 2016 年 3 月发售的《黑暗之魂3》迎来了系列的完结，但是《黑暗之魂》系列的作品全部都延用了上述的2个魅力设定，所以最终《黑暗之魂》系列成为了被玩家们争相谈论的动作RPG。

　　2014 年面向PS3、Xbox 360 和 Windows发售的《黑暗之魂 2》也制作了DLC完全收录的《黑暗之魂2：SCHOLAR OF THE FIRST SIN》的高配版于 2015 年 4 月登录了PS4、Xbox One 和 PC平台。以高配版为发端，想要重制系列初代的呼声越来越高，所以本作的出现正可谓是达成了粉丝们的愿望！

　　不管在哪里看都显得魅力且壮大的罗德兰是以无缝衔接的立体地图构成。地图的设计突显了探索的沉浸感和紧张感。设有很多陷阱让很多玩家多次尝试挑战的“塞恩古城”也因为画面的提升使得紧张感大幅度提升。

　　系列的常客阻碍玩家前进的飞龙也因为画面的提升极具魄力。通过供奉人性玩家来往于人类和亡者的游戏系统冲击了动作RPG游戏粉丝的心灵。如果玩过原版的话，一定会很熟悉下面这个镜头。注意恶魔和装备的细节以及各个方位的采光。

　　本作的难度很高，但是并没有很复杂的操作，根据玩家使用的武器、魔法、防具等内容，攻防的形式也会变化。性别、容貌、能力以及多彩的武器防具选择等也是大幅增加玩家带入感的一个要素。

　　本作由FromSoftware监修，PS4/xboxone/windows版由QLOC开发，NS版则交由 Virtuos开发。QLOC着手开发的PS4/xboxone/windows版除了对应1080P和60帧以外，还将游戏建模的纹理和光源提升。Virtuos开发的NS版在TV模式下对应1080P，在使用本体液晶的桌面模式和携带模式下也可以舒适的进行游戏。

有关游戏游玩的形式

　　就像前面说的一样，超高的难度和挑战高难度成功后的达成感等要素和原版没有什么区别，但是游戏在不影响体验的情况下进行了一些适用性的改善。比如说多人联机方面，除了房主以外全员都可以使用回复瓶、地区以外的搜索可以设定on/off等，这些改进比较接近最新版的《黑暗之魂3》。另外，PVP区的“试炼战斗”里追加了共斗（3v3）、乱斗（6人）的新规则，最多可以6人同时进行联机了！再加上用户的交互界面里可以进行快捷键配置，游戏玩起来更加快捷方便了。

　　因为“口令搜索”的关系，玩家可以和特定的玩家一起进行游戏了。如果出现了自己无法跨越的困难，不妨试试联机吧！

　　离本作发售还有不到2个月时间，官方会在发售前进行免费的网络压力测试（PS4/XB One/Nintendo Switch）。

Several outlets have gone live with first previews of Dark Souls Remastered today, which include the first direct-feed gameplay and screenshots of the game running on PlayStation 4.

Here is the full list of differences between Dark Souls Remastered and the original Dark Souls, via IGN‘s preview of the game:

Graphics

• Dark Souls Remastered will have a 4K resolution with a compatible TV / monitor at 60 frames per second on the Xbox One X, PlayStation 4 Pro, and PC. It will display upscaled 4K resolution on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One, while the PC version will be native 4K.
• PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second.
• On the Switch, it will have a 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second when docked to TV, and 720p resolution at 30fps when in handheld mode.
  

Online Multiplayer

• The maximum number of players online has increased from 4 to 6.
• The Dried Finger item will be needed to play with 6 players.
• The Dried Finger has been moved from the Painted World of Ariamis level to the Undead Burg merchant to be obtainable earlier in the game. The Dried Finger location in the Painted World has been replaced with a Twin Humanities item.
• Password Matchmaking is now available, similar to Dark Souls 3. When a player is summoned in Password Matchmaking the player level will be synced.
• It’s now easier for friends to be matched with each other. When the guest player’s character level and weapon is higher than that of the host player, the level will be adjusted accordingly.
• Healing items will not be available during PvP with the exception of Estus Flasks. To prevent long and drawn out battles, the number of Estus Flasks is halved for phantoms.
• When a player defeats an invading phantom, their Estus Flask is restored.
• Players can turn on / off global matchmaking.
• Players can now prevent matched Red Phantoms from seeing their “White Sign Soapstone” sign.
• layers can no longer summon ally phantoms consecutively when in combat with enemy phantoms.
• In online play, players who are outside of the host’s parameter range will not be matched with each other (the players can still be matched via Password Matching).
  

Arena

• Three-versus-three and six-player deathmatch have been added.
• Arena battles can also use Password Matching.
• Respawn points will be random.
  

Miscellaneous

• Players can select the number of usable items, such as consumable souls or covenant items, to use instead of one at a time as in the original game.
• The number of languages has been increased to the number found in Dark Souls 3.
• A Bonfire has been added next to Vamos the Blacksmith.
• Covenants can be switched at Bonfires.
• Button configuration is available.
• Items will not automatically be registered into an item slot when picked up.
• When the up or down directional pad button is held down, the first item equipped will be selected.
• The online network has been changed from P2P to dedicated servers.

　　FromSoftware 刚刚正式宣布，《黑暗之魂 重制版》Switch 版将从5月24日延期至2018年夏，具体时间待后续再次公布，其他平台发售日不变。官方表示在公告中表示抱歉，并希望 Switch 版玩家们可以再耐心等待一段时间。

　　同时，预计和游戏一起推出的太阳骑士 amiibo 也会延期至2018年夏季发售。此外，Switch 对应的网络测试也会跟着延期，而其他平台的网络测试则会正常举行，但具体时间尚未公布。

　　与原版相比，《黑暗之魂 重制版》不仅仅是画面有大幅度进化，而且游戏还加入了不少新要素，并进行了很多平衡性调整。此前我们整理过它与原版的主要区别，感兴趣的朋友可以点击这里阅读。

　　除了《黑暗之魂 重制版》之外，不久前原定于2018年夏季推出的 Switch 版《战场女武神4》也在最近宣布延期至秋季，而去年就公布的《勇者斗恶龙11》更是有可能无法在2018年发售。这些游戏延期的原因不难推测应该是在移植和优化方面遇到了一些问题。

Dark Souls: Remastered for Nintendo Switch Postponed to Summer 2018

Bandai Namco Entertainment previously announced the release date of Dark Souls: Remastered for the 25th May on all platforms. The release date for the Nintendo Switch version has now been pushed back to this summer. Additionally, the Solaire of Astora amiibo has also been postponed with the same timeframe. The Nintendo Switch version of Dark Souls: Remastered allows players to play it anytime and anywhere.

Dark Souls: Remastered will be available 25th May, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

　　万代南梦宫昨晚放出了《黑暗灵魂 重制版》的一段新的实机演示预告，并展示了不少游戏中的场景。熟悉的怪物和美丽的罗德兰，你准备好回到“黑魂”的世界了吗？

　　《黑暗灵魂 重制版》将在PS4 Pro/Xbox One X上支持拉伸的4K+60帧，PC版支持原生4K+60帧，普通PS4和Xbox One版的画面为1080p+60帧，Switch在底座模式和携带模式分辨率分别为1080p和720p，两者帧数均为30帧。除画面外，游戏中也加入了一些新的要素，诸如同时使用多个道具和自定义按键等。

　　PC、PS4 和 Xbox One 版的《黑暗灵魂 重制版》将于5月24日发售，Switch 版则为今年夏季。同时游戏支持繁简中文。



Bandai Namco has released a new gameplay trailer and opened digital pre-orders for Dark Souls Remastered via the PlayStation Store and Xbox Games Store.

The company also announced that users who own Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition on Steam will receive a 50 percent loyalty discount towards their purchase of Dark Souls Remastered for PC. Additionally, starting May 8 at 4:00 p.m. PT, the Steam version of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition will be delisted and replaced with Dark Souls Remastered when it launches on May 25. Users who own Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will still be able to play and re-download the title from their Steam library after it is delisted.

Dark Souls Remastered is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on May 25, and for Switch this summer.

Dark Souls Remastered Network Test Details Revealed

Bandai Namco Entertainment America has confirmed today that the Dark Souls Remastered Network Test will be running May 11-12, 2018, at specific times listed below, for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One. The network test will take place within the Undead Parish location and have players summoning co-op partners or invade others’ games.

More details regarding the Dark Souls Remastered Network Test can be found below:

• What: Dark Souls Remastered Network Test for PlayStation 4 system and Xbox One

• When: May 11th and May 12th from 6:00pm PDT to 11:59pm PDT each day for the Americas

• How: Download the Dark Souls Remastered Network Test client from May 1st through 11:59pm PDT on May 8th on PlayStation 4 system and Xbox One (Xbox Gold subscription required to participate) to be part of the test. At 11:59pm PDT on May 8th the network test client will be removed, and no new participants will be accepted.

Dark Souls Remastered will launch for the PlayStation 4 system, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on May 25, 2018. The Nintendo Switch version of Dark Souls Remastered, network test, and Solaire amiibo will be available later this summer.
