Rocket League: Collector’s Edition coming to retail in Q3 2016
《火箭联盟》实体版将于2016年第三季度Q3发售

　　《火箭联盟》是由Psyonix于2015年所推出的一款备受欢迎的独立游戏，游戏已经登陆PS4、XBOX One和PC平台。日前此前官方已经透露将推出游戏的实体版，而现在Psyonix和505 Games确认本作的实体版名为《火箭联盟：收藏版(Rocket League: Collector’s Edition)》，将于2016年第三季度登陆PS4和XBOX One平台。

　　《火箭联盟：收藏版》除了包含游戏原版的内容外，还将收录本作的三个主要DLC“Supersonic Fury”、“Revenge of the Battle-Cars”和“Chaos Run”，此外还有尚未公开的零售版独占奖励。



505 Games and Psyonix team up to bring indie mega-hit “Rocket League” to retail stores on Xbox One and PlayStation 4

Global publisher of video games, 505 Games, part of the Digital Bros Group, today announced an exclusive worldwide publishing agreement with leading independent developer/publisher Psyonix to bring their multi-million unit seller, Rocket League, to retail stores worldwide as "Rocket League: Collector’s Edition".

Originally published on Windows PC via Steam and Sony's PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system via PlayStation Network in July 2015, Rocket League most recently released a digital Xbox One version in February 2016. The easy-to-understand controls and unbelievable, high-octane re-imagining of association football has rapidly become a critical and commercial phenomenon, winning a slew of respected awards, selling nearly 4 million digital units, and boasting an extremely active community of over 12 million players worldwide.

The publishing agreement brings both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions to retail, complete with content from all three major DLC Packs to date, including Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run, in addition to several retail-exclusive bonuses that have yet to be announced.

Ian Howe, President of 505 Games said “We are honoured and excited to help Psyonix bring Rocket League: Collector’s Edition to a whole new audience. As big as Rocket League has become, both 505 Games and Psyonix believe that there is still a significant untapped segment of the gaming audience who become aware of products through physical retail."

Rocket League: Collector’s Edition will be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at participating retailers in Q3 2016.

Enter the Gungeon for PS4 and PC launches April 5
《挺进地牢》放出预告片 游戏将于4月5日发售

　　Dodge Roll Games开发制作的像素风地牢冒险游戏《挺进地牢》将于4月5日登陆PS4和PC平台，并放出最新预告片。

　　本作是一款枪战主题的地牢冒险游戏，玩家可以选择一个角色进入名叫“Gungeon”的传说级地牢，找到地牢深处的最终宝藏——一把能够“射杀”过去的枪。

　　游戏提供单人和合作两种游戏模式，在合作模式中玩家需要亲手轰出一条通往地牢底部的血路，途中各层还会遇到神秘邪教“Gundead”的成员挡道。除了各种“突突突”战斗，玩家还可以收集散落的宝物增强自己的实力，解开隐藏在地牢各处的小秘密，还可能会遇到触手强大装备的商人和奇怪NPC。

　　《挺进地牢》将于4月5日登陆PS4和PC平台。

Gunfight Dungeon Crawler 'Enter the Gungeon' Set to Release April 5

The noted pun artists of Dodge Roll Games and the firearm enthusiasts of Devolver Digital have announced that Enter the Gungeon will launch on April 5 for PlayStation 4 and PC/Mac/Linux.

Enter the Gungeon is a gunfighting dungeon crawler following a band of misfits seeking to shoot, loot, dodge roll and table-flip their way to personal absolution by reaching the legendary Gungeon’s ultimate treasure: the gun that can kill the past. Select a hero to battle alone or with a fellow Gungeoneer in co-op mode as you blast your way to the bottom of the Gungeon through a challenging and evolving series of floors filled with the dangerously adorable members of the Cult of the Gundead. Gather precious loot, discover hidden secrets, and chat with opportunistic merchants and shopkeepers to purchase powerful items to gain an edge.



“Enter the Gungeon dares to dream about what would happen if you shot bullets at bullets that were shooting bullets back at you,” said Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker. “Gun on gun crime is a real issue and I’m going to exploit it for money.”

Brave Gungeoneers will be armed to the teeth with hundreds of unique weapons and items for dangerous encounters with legions of gun-toting bullets. Handcrafted rooms combine to form procedurally generated dungeons and create a seamless new adventure as players unlock new weapons, uncover new secrets, and meet new allies sympathetic to their struggle. There’s also something called the Shotgun of Hate so get ready for that little gem.

NightCry for PC launches this spring
继承《时钟塔》精神恐怖新作《NightCry》PC 版今春上市 曝光新影片

　　由《时钟塔》与《铁骑》的 NUDE MAKER「河野一二三」，与《咒怨》知名电影导演「清水崇」连手开发的新作《NightCry》今（2）日宣布，PC 版本将于 2016 年春季上市。

　　《NightCry》故事描述搭乘豪华邮轮主角在欢乐的气氛中出发，原本以为是趟快乐的旅行，但没想到船内却发生了杀人事件，船上乘客开始猜疑彼此，而到了夜晚、船上还出现令人毛骨悚然的小孩哭声，旅客遭到陆续杀害，到底谁是下一个牺牲者，而船上不知道哪里是安全的地方情况下，主角的选择又会是如何？

　　游戏强调为继承《时钟塔》精神的后继作品，计划今年春季将会在 Steam 平台与 PLAYISM 平台上推出，目前 PLAYISM 平台已经开放预购，游戏价格为 2480 日圆，含数字原声带加上游戏为 3980 日圆，若再加上美术画册为 4980 日圆。

February has now come to a close, and the period for downloading the alpha demo version that was made available midway through the month is over. We are thrilled that so many people downloaded the alpha demo and would like to thank you again for the feedback you posted in the forums. Every day, we are making adjustments while referencing your opinions.

Having played the alpha demo, you might be eager to find out what happens next! Of course, we can't reveal any specific details, but we would like to share with you a trailer as we steadily move closer towards completion.

Thanks to your support, the PC version of NightCry has been confirmed for release this spring, 2016. We are nearly there, so please stay tuned for further updates!

Storyline

You step out of the confined pod, disorientated and blinking. As your vision clears, a desolate view forms to greet you. The burning wreckage of your ship – your home – lies scattered cruelly across the surface of an alien landscape.

You must have come down hard. Picking your way through the remains of the ship, you look for answers, a weapon, a radio. Instead, you find a body. Your body.

Well, you think, at least the cloning bay still works.

Unfortunately, it seems like that’s about all that does. If you want to get off this planet, you’re going to have to explore it. You need to find equipment. You need to build a beacon. The forests look hostile, but you’ve got your gun.

And if the worst comes to pass, well, at least the cloning bay still works.

Gameplay

Beacon is a Sci-Fi Action Roguelike in which you take control of Freja, a recently-deceased pilot-for-hire whose ship has just crashed into the side of an unknown planet. Luckily for Freja, thanks to her ship’s automated clone bay, being dead isn’t the pain in the ass it once was.

Played as a top-down shooter, Beacon tasks you with fighting your way through a randomly generated hostile world, all the while trying to find the materials required to build a distress beacon and escape the planet into which your ship has crashed.

While you’re making your way through these areas you’ll not only find weapons and items to help you; You’ll also be collecting DNA from the enemies you defeat. Then, when you inevitably die, you’re given the opportunity to combine the DNA you’ve collected with your own, granting you different stats and potentially gameplay-altering physical mutations for your next run.

Beacon aims to create a bridge between fast, frenetic action and long-term strategy, where your actions can be felt and built upon hours down the line.

Furi on PS4: A Gauntlet of Brutal Boss Battles

There is a feeling that I remember from when I was a kid playing video games: the huge, intense satisfaction when I finally beat a level or a boss I had been struggling with for a while. The feeling of learning how to overcome a challenge, with my brain and my thumbs. The combination of understanding and execution felt like a reward in itself.

I remember it from games like Super Punch Out, bosses from Metal Gear Solid, combat in God Hand. There are many games that gave me that feeling, but recently I’ve felt that games try too hard to be “user friendly.” Adaptive difficulty, dynamic checkpoints, in-game tips… Everything is explained and balanced to make sure nobody drops out.

With Furi, we want to give the player an extreme satisfaction when he or she beats a boss. That means he or she will have to sweat a little for it.

Furi is heavily inspired by the Japanese way of making games. It’s not trying to be realistic in its style or animations. It’s fast-paced and requires a lot of timing, reflex, and judgment. When you press a button, the character reacts immediately. It’s part of what makes it “fair.” Too often in modern games, we press a button and then, in order to make the game look realistic, the character will start an animation that “looks good” but “feels heavy,” and is unresponsive, even laggy. Responsive controls feel good and are a must-have in a combat game.







The gameplay in Furi is the essence of the catchphrase “easy to learn, hard to master.” There are very few buttons to press or abilities to remember. You can slash with your sword, shoot with your gun, dodge, and parry. That’s about it.

You can charge the slash attack, the gunshot, and the dodge. It’ll result in a more powerful slash that stuns the opponent, a more powerful gunshot that knocks him or her down, and a longer dodge. But once you’ve got that, you can play Furi. It’s like a guitar: it has six strings, but you need practice to play it correctly. And there’s no limit to how much you can improve. It’s simple and deep.

The challenges are mostly based on a simple formula: be warned, react, punish.

Dodge a laser. Parry a sword attack. Wait for the weakness in your opponent’s posture, and bam, punish. The real depth in the gameplay comes from the differences between the bosses. It’s not about learning tons of combos to beat the next boss, it’s about how you play a few moves differently to beat a different opponent.

Some bosses, or “guardians,” will focus more on shooting. Others will challenge mostly your sword fighting. Some opponents are deadly and will knock you down in two or three hits. Some fights will require a lot of focus over a long time. A fight can last 10 minutes or 90 minutes depending on how you play. And of course, each guardian in the game has one or two special tricks, weapons, or abilities that make him or her unique.







In our latest trailer we’re showing one of the fiercest guardians. She is a tactician, a hunter, a playful mercenary who doesn’t leave anything to chance. She has planned her fight and has weapons to help her win: drones, a laser sniper rifle, great camouflage, and she can even control every bit of the arena she fights in, raising cover and blocking paths.

At first, she’ll hunt you, hidden in her maze, shooting at you while you are distracted by her cyber-bees. You will have to find her, and attack her before she relocates. You’ll get to face her for a while if you can do that, but that’s still playing into her hand.

In order to take her out of her comfort zone, you’ll have to follow her into her nest, in the center of the maze, and knock her out once or twice. Once this is done, she’ll get pissed off and she’ll keep sniping at you while you have to dodge waves of bullets coming fast. Eventually, the final challenge is to fight her hand to hand… while she is invisible! This requires sharp reflexes and focus.

I recommend taking a break after beating her. Because I know the guardian that comes after!

After the Kickstarter campaign campaign, Nordic Games and Airship Syndicate join forces to increase the development budget of Battle Chasers: Nightwar even further. With the help of Nordic Games all stretch goals including more content, more cut scenes and full voice acting that were initially out of reach can be achieved and the best possible Battle Chasers: Nightware experience can be delivered to fans around the globe.

From Comic to Game

The best-selling comic book Battle Chasers was first released in the late 90s and quickly generated a passionate cult following. Now Joe Madureira, the creator of the comics, and his founding partner Ryan Stefanelli are crafting a new adventure for the iconic heroes as a video game for PC and consoles. Madureira says that, "The game is being designed for both fans of the series and those who are new to it. The story will be enjoyable for everyone, with a few special moments for those who know the characters already.”

Airship + Nordic Games

Fans all around the world are already eagerly anticipating Battle Chasers: Nightwar. To make the game even bigger and better, Airship Syndicate decided to team up with Nordic Games. “I had gotten to know the guys at Nordic shortly after they acquired the Darksiders license,” said Ryan Stefanelli. “After the Kickstarter campaign closed, we started to talk with them about acting as a co-funder and publisher to help us reach some of the stretch goals we’d narrowly missed out on. Doing so is going to be great for our fans and backers, and also allows us as a studio to focus on game development more than publishing.”

Battle Chasers: Nightwar will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Mac at the end of 2016.
