Sacred 3: Hunt For The Ultimate Glory

Deep Silver today reveals a new trailer for Sacred 3 which focuses on the competitive aspect of the game. While working together on their fight against the evil that has come over Ancaria, the four heroes also have their very own agenda: Trump their companions and become the ultimate hero of Ancaria.

The newest installment of the classic Sacred series will be available from 1st August in Europe and 5th August in the United States for Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system as well as Windows PC.

About Sacred 3

Sacred 3 features classic arcade Hack ‘n’ Slash action centered around drop in, drop out cooperative multiplayer for both offline (2 players) and online (4 players) play. The game brings back fan-favourite characters such as the Seraphim, Ancarian, Khukuhru and the Safiri, as well as introduces a new character, Malakhim. Each character class features its own unique skills and weapons which can be upgraded to match the player’s very own combat style. As they master the art of war, players will fight their way through enemy hordes and try to outshine their fellow companions on their way to become the greatest hero of all. The inclusion of mission stats and online leaderboards will continue to drive competition both locally and online. Victory Is Ours. Glory is Mine.

Escape Dead Island announced for PS3, Xbox 360 & PC

　　尽管《死亡岛2》正式公开的时间还不长，不过日前Deep Silver和Gaijin Entertainment又公布了另一款系列新作《死亡岛：逃出生天(Escape Dead Island)》，游戏将于2014年秋季登陆PS3、XBOX 360和PC平台，其售价则为39.99美元。

　　根据官方提供的信息，本作可以说是连接《死亡岛》和即将到来的次世代新作《死亡岛2》之间的“重要桥梁”，游戏中将会解释僵尸病毒的起源以及事件将会被引领至何处的一些线索。

　　《死亡岛：逃出生天》是一款以故事为主轴发展的单人游戏，玩家们将扮演媒体界的宠儿Cliff Calo。他和他的朋友们一起偷了一艘潜艇，打算拍摄一部揭露僵尸爆发真相的世纪纪录片。

　　游戏中玩家们可以自由的探索整个岛屿，和Cliff一起运用自己的智慧在这个变得越来越难以预测的世界中进行斗争。游戏中时间会扭曲，奇怪的讯息可能突然出现，有时候还会发生一些不可思议的事件，比如海洋转变为血色或容器从天而降。

Deep Silver today reveals Escape Dead Island, a third-person single-player survival mystery spin-off that unravels the origins of the zombie outbreak and tells the story between multi-million-seller Dead Island and the recently announced successor Dead Island 2. Developed by Fatshark Sweden, Escape Dead Island is scheduled for release in autumn 2014 for the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system as well as Windows PC for a recommended retail price of ￡39.99 for the console versions and ￡34.99 for the PC version.

Escape Dead Island is a survival mystery that follows the story of Cliff Calo, who sets sail to document the unexplained events rumoured to have happened on Banoi. Haunted by Déjà vu, Cliff will have to make sense of it all throughout the entire game – again and again. Volition plans to add 100 people to its team



Volition seeking city incentives to remodel, expand

Video game developer Volition is seeking about $200,000 in incentives from the city of Champaign so the company can remodel its downtown offices and expand by as many as 100 employees.

Without the incentives, the company said it may have to consider other locations outside downtown Champaign because the remodeling would be cost-prohibitive.

The Champaign City Council is scheduled to consider the request at its study session Tuesday.

Volition currently employs more than 200 employees and occupies 47,000 square feet on the second and third floors of One Main Plaza at the northeast corner of Neil and Main streets.

The studio — best known for its "Saints Row" series of video games — was acquired last year by a German company, Koch Media.

Sacred 3 'Fighter' Trailer Shows Competition Amongst Cooperation

Today Deep Silver released a new CGI trailer for the arcade hack 'n' slash title, Sacred 3, available on August 5th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 as well as Windows PC. Teamwork is important in Sacred 3, but who doesn’t like fighting for personal glory?

The latest trailer shows off the competitive, co-op gameplay and the humor that fans of the franchise expect. Gamers will enjoy fighting back the hordes of the evil Emperor Zane while competing with friends to prove who is Ancaria’s greatest champion.

A strong team is necessary to defeat the countless enemies of the evil empire. You’ll need to equip combat arts and weapons spirits that compliment your team and your own unique play style. However, there are powerful enemies that won’t be easily slain. Combine your powers with other champions to cast powerful and devastating co-op combat moves. Once the dust from the battles has settled, the score sheet will reveal which hero will stand as the undisputed champion over his or her peers. This establishes a delicate balance between friendly cooperation and cutthroat competition.

Sacred 3 is out today

The ultimate hunt for glory in Ancaria starts today as Deep Silver releases Sacred for Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system as well as Windows PC in Europe and other PAL territories and on August 5th in North America.

For release, Sacred 3 will be available as a limited First Edition for all platforms. The First Edition will include the Malakhim class as well as the additional Underworld Story DLC. In Underworld, players have to forge their way to the top of a mysterious tower where they have to confront the Black Seraphim, a notorious rival from Sacred 2.
