Today, Ubisoft announced that Anno 2205, the sixth installment in the strategy city-building series, is now available in the UK as a digital download for Windows PC and as a boxed Collectors Edition. Developed by Blue Byte, a Ubisoft studio, Anno 2205 marks the first time the franchise is extending its reach to the moon and venturing into outer space.
In Anno 2205, players will develop futuristic cities on Earth that are capable of launching missions to the moon as they race to establish production colonies on the lunar surface. By colonizing the moon and Arctic regions and mining the resources to send back down to Earth, the cities will flourish from the technological advancements and transform into thriving metropolises. The game also uses a revolutionary session mode that lets players control several sessions on Earth’s temperate and Arctic regions, and on the moon simultaneously, connecting multiple regions across different gameplay sessions.
The new Anno 2205 Engine advances city-building so players can build cities reaching one million inhabitants on islands five times the size of those in previous Anno games. A high level of graphical details immerse players in the thriving cities with flying cars, churning factories, bustling stadiums, transit stations, and grinding mines.
“We are very proud to finally let Anno fans and newcomers enjoy the next evolution in the Anno series”, says Burkhard Ratheiser, Executive Producer on Anno 2205, “After more than three years in development, Anno 2205 not only reaches for the stars but is also the biggest Anno ever created.”
Anno 2205 is available in three editions – the standard edition (Digital only in UK), the Gold Edition (Digital only in UK) and the physical Collector’s Edition. The standard edition will include the full Anno 2205 game experience. The Gold Edition will include the full Anno 2205 game experience, as well as access to two expansion packs that will be released after the launch of the game. The Collector’s Edition offers additional memorabilia such as a high-quality Moon Poster and a 60-page exclusive art book. The new pieces of downloadable content will allow players to explore two regions, Tundra and Orbit, to gather new technologies to further develop their corporation. The expansions will also be available to download separately, or as part of the Season Pass for players who already own the standard edition.
For players who want to extend their experience even further, Anno 2205: Asteroid Miner is a galactic Match 3 puzzle game developed specifically for mobile devices to give both fans and newcomers a challenging new approach to the Anno universe. Players can also transfer rare materials acquired from the app into the PC version of Anno 2205 to help grow their empires and master their city-building skills.
Retail Version of Zombi Coming to PS4, Xbox One & PC in January
Zombi to be Available Across Retails Stores for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC
Today, Ubisoft announced that Zombi, the acclaimed survival-horror game updated for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, will be on sale across retail stores from January 21, 2016.
After being one of the Wii U flagship titles in 2012, Zombi returns to an infected London challenging players to dive into the horror and survive. Players can now experience this fear-fueled first person shooter with the original oppressive and intense elements that made ZombiU so innovative, optimized for a new generation of hardware. A number of updates have also been introduced in this reawakened version, including new melee weapons, faster load times, improved flashlight gameplay and overall visual effects.
Zombi is already available as a digital download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and will soon hit the stores as a boxed version across Europe.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India and Russia to Release Early 2016
Today, Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia, the final episodes of the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles trilogy, will be available for download respectively on January 12 and February 9, 2016, on the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC.
The Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy Pack, which includes all three episodes, will be available as a digital store bundle on the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC starting February 9. The Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy Pack will also be available at retail stores on the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One starting February 9. The Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy Pack will be available on the PlayStation Vita system on April 5.
Developed by Climax Studios in collaboration with Ubisoft Montreal, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles brings the thrill of being a Master Assassin to 2.5D. Players journey to three distinct civilizations and time periods throughout history, including the Ming dynasty at the start of its downfall, the Sikh Empire as it prepares for war in India, and the aftermath of the Red October Revolution. Each chronicle stands on its own with a unique setting, art style, story and Assassin, but they are all tied together narratively. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, the first episode, released in April 2015.
The second episode, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India, throws players into the tension between the Sikh Empire and the private armies of the British-owned East India Company in 1841. When a Master Templar arrives with a mysterious item that used to belong to the Assassin Order, Arbaaz Mir must discover why the Templar has come, steal back the item and protect his friends and his lover.
The final episode, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia, takes place in 1918 when Assassin Nikolaï Orelov must complete one last mission for the Assassin Order before he can leave with his family. His mission: infiltrate the house where the Tsar’s family is being held by the Bolsheviks and steal an artifact that has been fought over by Assassins and Templars for centuries. While too late to save the Tsar’s entire family, he manages to save the princess, Anastasia, whom he must protect as he escapes the Templars with her and the artifact in tow.
