Miiverse, Wii U Chat, and Nintendo TVii to end service on November 8
任天堂宣布虚拟分身社群服务「Miiverse」将于 11 月结束营运

　　任天堂今（29）日宣布，配合 Wii U 主机于 2012 年 11 月推出、后延伸至 Nintendo 3DS 的虚拟分身社群服务「Miiverse」，将于日本时间今年 11 月 8 日 15:00 结束营运终止服务。

　　Mii 世界服务是由任天堂官方统一管理、类似 Twitter 的社群网络，当初是配合 Wii U 主机规划推出，会以游戏为主题开设不同的社群，可以发布留言、使用触控笔涂鸦投稿、传讯给其他玩家、分享游戏截图等。 玩家可以透过 Miiverse 来交流游玩心得、分享绘图创作或寻求难关攻略。

　　Miiverse 后续也开放了可以在一般浏览器上阅览的网页版，并于 2013 年底 N3DS 的系统软件更新后正式在 N3DS 主机上提供服务，不过一直没有计划在 Nintendo Switch 主机上提供服务。

　　在 Wii U 主机停产淡出市场，且后续未有计划在 NS 主机继续提供服务的状况下，任天堂如今终于宣布将结束 Miiverse 的服务。 停止营运后相关服务将无法存取，支持 Miiverse 连动的游戏将无法继续使用连动功能，Wii U 系统接口的 Wara Wara Plaza 将不会显示 Miiverse 贴文。

　　为了让先前曾在 Miiverse 中投稿创作的玩家可以保留自己的心血，官方将在 Miiverse 网页版限期提供下载自己投稿的服务（不包含投稿中其他人的留言），详情会在 Miiverse 内公布。

Here’s a rundown of each notice:

Miiverse Service End Notice

Access to Miiverse from Wii U and 3DS from the Internet after November 8 at 15:00 JST will no longer be possible, and all services such as posting and browsing, messaging friends, etc. will no longer be usable. (Wii U users will receive error code “115-5004” and 3DS users will receive error code “015-5004.”)

Wii U and 3DS games that support Miiverse will no longer be able to use Miiverse features. For example, in New Super Mario Bros. U, the illustrations posted by the in-game Miiverse community will no longer be displayed.

Wii U Chat Service End Notice

Access to Wii U Chat after November 8 at 15:00 JST will no longer be possible. Users will receive error code “102-2882” when trying to start the Wii U Chat application.

TVii Service End Notice

Access to Nintendo TVii after November 8 at 15:00 JST will no longer be possible. Users will receive error code “102-2882” when trying to start the Nintendo TVii Chat application.

Medabots Classics collection announced for 3DS
《徽章战士经典》公布 系列20周年纪念收录前五作

　　《徽章战士》20 th周年纪念作品《徽章战士：经典》公布，将登陆3DS平台，售价4800日元，预计于 2017 年 12 月 21 日发售。

　　《徽章战士：经典》将包含系列从初代至第五作内容，不是简单的移植版，将追加更多新要素，并改良游戏系统。除了普通版外，还将发售同捆CD和设定集的超豪华限量版，售价12000日元。



本作的新要素包括：

·当通关后以获得全配件的状态再次游戏，作为奖励将可入手本篇中无法取得的梦幻配件。
·本篇中入手的配件可以通过“机械相册”预览，观看收集全套后的上身效果和性能。
·可随时存储&读取存档，本体配件强度不变，但可实装能跳过杂兵战和回避强敌战的“强制跳过”机能。
·对应多人游戏，支持各系列之间无线对战和配件交换。

　　20th 周年超豪华限量版将分为甲胄版和锹形虫版两种包装，同捆 CD 音乐碟将包含系列1~5 代中选取的 20 首经典配乐，设定集将收录包含未公开的机甲在内共 520 只机体设定。

The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals Medabots Classics, a collection for 3DS that includes the first five Medabots games, complete with system improvements and evolutions.

That would include:

Medabots (Game Boy, 1997)
Medabots 2 (Game Boy Color, 1999)
Medabots 3 (Game Boy Color, 2000)
Medabots 4 (Game Boy Color, 2001)
Medabots 5: Susutake Mura no Tenkousei (Game Boy Color, 2001)

The collection will be released in Kabuto and Kuwagata versions for 4,800 yen each. A limited edition including both versions, a 20-song soundtrack CD, and 520-page art book will also be released for 12,000 yen.

Medabot Classics Kabuto Ver. and Medabot Classics Kuwagata Ver. will launch for 3DS in Japan on December 21.

Here are some additional tidbits:

By clearing the main stories, there are bonuses such as being able to play from the beginning of the game with all parts acquired, or being able to use phantom parts that could not be obtained in the main story.

There is a “Meda-Album” that compiles all the parts you obtained in the main stories. You can have a look at images and the capabilities of Medabots with all of their parts present.

In addition to being able to save and load at any time, there is also a “Force Robattle Skip” feature that you can use to avoid battles against small fry or formidable enemies (although this will not increase your Medal skill level).

Local multiplayer is supported, allowing each game to do wireless battles and parts trading.

Development is currently 78 percent complete.

First look at Medabots Classics



Famitsu has gone live with its first online preview of the newly announced Medabots Classics for 3DS.



A celebration of the series’ 20th anniversary, Medabots Classics is a five-game collection that includes the following titles:

Medabots (Game Boy, 1997)
Medabots 2 (Game Boy Color, 1999)
Medabots 3 (Game Boy Color, 2000)
Medabots 4 (Game Boy Color, 2001)
Medabots 5: Susutake Mura no Tenkousei (Game Boy Color, 2001)

The collection includes the Kabuto or Kuwagata versions of each game, depending on which version of Medabots Classic you purchase.

Medabots Classics also includes enhancements, such as the ability to save anywhere and skip battles in order to more quickly advance through the story.





Medabots Classics Kabuto Ver. and Medabots Classics Kuwagata Ver. are due out for 3DS on December 21 in Japan for 4,800 yen each (5,184 yen with tax). A “20th Anniversary Edition” limited edition including both versions, a 20-song soundtrack CD, and 520-page art book will also be released for 12,000 yen (12,960 yen with tax).

Medabots Classics first details, screenshots

Imagineer has opened the official website for its recently announced Medabots Classics for 3DS.

Due out on December 21 in Japan in Kabuto and Kuwagata versions, the collection includes the respective versions of the following five titles:

Medabots (Game Boy, 1997)
Medabots 2 (Game Boy Color, 1999)
Medabots 3 (Game Boy Color, 2000)
Medabots 4 (Game Boy Color, 2001)
Medabots 5: Susutake Mura no Tenkousei (Game Boy Color, 2001)

Each version will cost 4,800 yen.

A 12,000 yen “20th Anniversary Edition” will also be released.



In total, it will include:

Medabots Classics: Kabuto Version
Medabots Classics: Kuwagata Version
20th Anniversary Box (Special Packaging)
Soundtrack – A 20-track, best-of album containing title and Robattle music from all five titles.
Ultimate Character Book – A 160-page book containing a considerable number of previously unseen artworks from all five games, including illustrations of all 520 Medabots.

In addition to the five classic Medabots games, Medabots Classics will offer the following new features:

Save and Load Anytime – Save right before a Robattle to try it again. No longer should you worry about being defeated and losing your parts.

Wireless Multiplayer – Local wireless battles have been implemented for each game. Parts trading is also supported.

Robattle Skip and Speed Feature – Skip Robattles against small fry enemies or against enemies you cannot defeat. However, while you can earn experience points, your Medal proficiency will not raise, so you cannot use this feature too often. You can also increase the speed of the game.

Medabot Album – A Medabot Album featuring the parts you obtained in the main story of each game has been added. The full graphic for a Medabot will be unlocked after you obtain all four of its parts.

Play a New Game with All of the Parts You Obtained – After clearing the main story of a game, you can start a new game with all of the parts you obtained. It may even be possible to use the phantom parts that cannot be obtained in the main story.

Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates launches November 30 in Japan
3DS《进击的巨人2 未来的座标》确认11月30日发售

Spike Chunsoft宣布3DS游戏《进击的巨人2：未来的座标》将于11月30日发售，售价5980日元。

这款游戏将包含有故事模式，主要讲述TV动画第二季的内容。同时游戏还包含世界模式，玩家可以在该模式下体验军队的的创建和基地的建设等游戏要素。

除了发售日外，官方还公开了游戏的封面以及部分游戏截图。

The “3D maneuver action” game includes a “Story Mode” that runs parallel to season two of the Attack on Titan TV anime, and a “World Mode” with original army creation and base crafting features.

Nintendo Increases Inventory of Super NES Classic Edition; NES Classic Edition Returns to Stores in 2018

Due to incredible demand for the upcoming Super Nintendo Entertainment System: Super NES Classic Edition system, Nintendo plans to ship the retro-inspired product into 2018. Originally, shipments were announced to cease at the end of this calendar year.

In addition, more units of Super NES Classic Edition will ship on its Sept. 29 launch day in the U.S. than were shipped of NES Classic Edition all last year, with subsequent shipments arriving in stores regularly. Fans have shown their unbridled enthusiasm for these Classic Edition systems, so Nintendo is working to put many more of them on store shelves.

The Super NES Classic Edition system features 21 legendary Super NES games such as Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Super Metroid. Launching on Sept. 29 at a suggested retail price of only $79.99, Super NES Classic Edition plugs directly into the TV using the provided HDMI cable, and comes with two wired controllers. Kirby: Battle Royale announced for 3DS

The untitled Kirby multiplayer action game for 3DS first teased in April is titled Kirby: Battle Royale and will launch on January 19, Nintendo announced.

The Dead Heat Breakers announced for 3DS

Nintendo announced The Dead Heat Breakers for 3DS during its Japanese Nintendo Direct broadcast today. It iwll launch in Japan in spring 2018.

The Dead Heat Breakers is an action tower defense game where players control the armadillo Dillon from Dillon’s Rolling Western and fight against alien rock invaders. In addition to third-person action parts, there are also rear-view racing parts. A “You” character based on your Mii that will also help Dillon.

Minecraft: New Nintendo 3DS Edition announced, launches today

　　任天堂今天早些时候在直面会上宣布，在今天晚些时候《我的世界》就将会登陆任天堂3DS。

The Orange & White Edition has been available in Europe and Japan since New 2DS XL launched in July.

Style Savvy: Styling Star announced for 3DS

Nintendo announced Style Savvy: Styling Star for 3DS during the Japanese and European Nintendo Direct broadcasts today. It will launch in Japan under the name Girls Mode 4: Star Stylist on November 2 for 4,980 yen, and in Europe under the name Nintendo Presents: New Style Boutique 3 – Styling Star on November 24. A North American release was not announced.
