Hello Makiko. ^^ Of course, I will add your name to my main post right now.
I bought one English book during the KLCC Book Fair, its about "The Everyday American Oral English".
It taught us alot of basic English that we can use in daily life.
Although some are very American style, we can eliminate those and choose some that more comment to speak in Malaysia. ^^

Hi rain (in Chinese) xD. I am actually very shy to speak English too.
But don't worry, we are all learning. Speak broken English, rather than no speak. From then, we slowly improve.
The Skype audio program that I am trying to organise is not a professional thingy, but we can at least gather together and have some time communicating in English.
Would you want to join us? ^^

Oughh... Let me explain this again. Its about an idea that I copied from some random English learning websites. What I am trying to do is to gather some jbtalks-rian who are interested to communicate in English and we would add each other in Skype. From there, it gives us a chance to speak some English in daily life. However, I haven't create a FB group or anything yet. Will do it asap and will update you soon. I will add your name to main post now. ^^

就是因为那样，我讲英文也是卡下卡下，因为脑海浮现的都是华语字，等着被翻译去英文。。但是，就当是给自己一个讲英文的平台，让我们至少有得讲英文一下下~

hmm.. yea.. But my initial thought is to have an opportunity for us to communicate in English in our daily life.
Sometimes, we are just so afraid to pop English out when people asking us something.

Hi Jayrein again. ^.^ Yea, speaking English is a necessary, but within my small group of friends, we always communicate in Mandarin. And I realise, I actually not so dare to answer my lecturer questions, its not that I don't know, maybe because of my personality all the while I am growing up. I usually give others impression of I am quiet, which actually deep inside me, it is not true. This timid personality make me feel so hate about myself. However, I can give presentations, because script is prepared and I practice, also I know presentation skills (eye contact etc etc).

Another problem would be my listening skills. Mostly, I couldn't understand dialogues in movies. Subtitles became a must must for me. T_T

I have interesting in this topic......
but my english is too bad....included writing and ...

Whether or not to speak in full proper English troublesome me, as sometimes, I will use wrong "verb to be", in present tense or past tense or whatever tense. >.<

I am afraid there wouldn't be any online teacher, but I am pretty sure we will have some members who are relatively good in English and could correct us. =)

Hello Hency. I have not heard Ventrilo before. But I know Team Speak, which my Ragnarok friends used it for group chat. It has also individual "room" where users can enter into the room and have private chat. However, most people don't know about that, and I think we should stick with Skype as it is common to us. But I will see how it works.
