　　曾在电影《魔戒三部曲》扮演咕噜，以及在《猩球崛起》扮演猩猩西泽的演员安迪 · 瑟克斯（Andrew Serkis），在去（2016）年的纽约 Comic Con（NYCC）活动中曾登台宣示，打算将电影《猩球崛起》改编为游戏。 而安迪 · 瑟克斯主导的动态捕捉公司 Imaginarium Productions 旗下的游戏部门 Imaginati Studios，正式公布了将在 PS4 / Xbox One / PC 推出《猩球崛起》电影世界观的游戏《猩球崛起：最后边疆（暂译：Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier）》，并在 IGN 首度曝光了游戏宣传影片。

　　《猩球崛起：最后边疆》将描述 2014 年上映的电影《猩球崛起 2：黎明的进击（Dawn of the Planet of the Apes）》和 2017 年《猩球崛起：终极决战（War for the Planet of the Apes）》之间发生的故事。 并且采用了电影使用的动态捕捉技术和 Unreal Engine 4 引擎制作。

Imaginati Studios, the newly-formed, London-based games division of Planet of the Apes performance capture studio Imaginarium Productions, has announced Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier, a cinematic adventure game set between the events of the Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes films. It will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this fall.

Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier will make use of the same performance capture technology facilities used for the Planet of the Apes films at Imaginarium Productions. It is set around a year after Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and centers around a breakaway faction of apes who take refuge in the Rocky Mountains from the ongoing human-ape war, but are forced to descend into a human-owned valley as winter approaches and food depletes. The story has no black and white decisions or clear heroes and villains. Players will take control of both humans and apes, all of which are original characters, who can live or die based on the player’s decision. The game will have multiple endings depending on their actions on both sides.

IGN has an exclusive preview of the game, including an interview with Martin Alltimes, founder of Imaginarium Productions.

　　游戏背景设定在《猩球崛起2：黎明之战》和《猩球崛起3：终极之战》的中间，是一部电影式的冒险游戏。讲述的是在《黎明之战》后一年左右的时间，围绕在落基山脉避难的人类部落和一个猿类部落展开。

　　不过，游戏没有探索和解谜部分，玩家也不能直接控制角色，玩家要做的就是在沉浸剧情的时候做出选择。游戏中没有明确的好人坏人，拥有多个结局。根据制作商Imaginati在IGN的采访中表述，游戏的目的是讲述一个故事，玩家们要在这其中做出选择，而选择将影响游戏的后续发展。《人猿星球：最后边疆》将采用和电影《猩球崛起》相同的动作捕捉技术，打造一款电影级的游戏体验。

The upcoming Planet of the Apes game is a “narrative adventure game of conquest, betrayal, and survival,” where the “morally and ethically challenging choices” players make will influence how the story plays out for both the apes and humans.

Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier is due out this fall for PlayStation 4, and later for Xbox One and PC.

Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier ‘Clarence’s Perspective’ trailer

Imaginati Studios and FoxNext Games have released a new trailer for its August-announced Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier titled “Episode Two: Clarence’s Perspective.”

Meet Clarence, confidant to Khan. After fleeing battle and his wife being killed by a soldier, Khan needs guidance. What should Clarence tell the apes to do: Go Back For Revenge or Leave And Seek Peace? How Will You Lead?

　　FoxNext VR Studio 宣布，旗下游戏《猩球危机》（Crisis on the Planet of the Apes VR）将在2018年4月3日登陆PlayStation VR、Oculus Rift 和 HTC Vive 三大平台。本作由 FoxNext VR Studio 与 Imaginati Studios 合作推出，是一款第一人称动作冒险游戏，故事发生在《猩球崛起（Planet of the Apes）》和《猩球崛起 2：黎明的进击（Dawn of the Planet of the Apes）》之间。

　　“Outbreak”5年之后，猩猩流感已经摧毁了将近一半的人类，玩家将会操作一头拥有智能猩猩来对抗人类，从戒备森严的科学设施中逃脱，最终目的是带领其他猩猩回去。

About Crisis on the Planet of the Apes VR

Five years since its outbreak, the Simian Flu has wiped out half of humanity and left other primates…evolved.

Now at the crossroads of two species’ destinies, you are an ape with advanced intelligence, captured and held prisoner in a heavily guarded scientific facility as mankind desperately searches for a cure.

Your mission: confront human aggression as you climb, jump, and shoot through the chaos of an apocalyptic world to escape with your fellow apes and return home to Caesar.

Characters

• Bone – A chimpanzee captured by the CDC for its Simian Flu research. The same virus that’s devastated the human race has given him and other apes human-like intelligence, and he’s determined to escape captivity and help his fellow apes.

• Sergeant Richter – A hardened career army sergeant assigned to provide security for the CDC’s research site. After weathering five years of death and chaos, he’s come to view Dr. Devon’s research as a waste, and the apes in her care as dangerous enemies.

• Dr. Eva Devon – The lead scientist in the CDC’s research program combatting the Simian Flu. Brilliant and determined, she faces intense pressure as she races to find a cure – pressure that sometimes blinds her to the suffering in her lab.

• Spear – A chimpanzee test subject in the CDC’s research trials. Spear was once part of a band of intelligent apes led by Caesar, the first ape with human-like intelligence, but his capture and Dr. Devon’s research have taken a heavy physical toll on him.

• Corporal Coburn – A gruff, trigger-happy soldier under Richter’s command.
