如题！~~could不是can的过去式？？
可是有些问题不是过去式为什么可以用could

could = suggestion/past
can = assertion

I can do it ( 我可以做到)
I could do it (我也许可以做到)

'Could' is used to make polite requests. We can also use 'can' for these but 'could' is more polite.

Could you help me, please?
Could you lend me some money?
Could I have a lift?
Could I bother you for a moment?

could也有虚拟或委婉语气的意思

I think "could" sounds more polite as compared to "can".
Like when you ask a question in "Can", you are expecting the person to reply a "yes", or you may be angry.

(Just personal opinion though)
