You are very "confused", "not confusing".

Forget is the base form or the plural present tense: Don't forget to call Ann. They sometimes forget to feed the fish.
Forgot is the past tense of forget: She forgot to buy some salt.
Forgotten is the past participle of forget: I have forgotten to lock the door.

Can you please explain it ?
For example I went to shopping mall yesterday but I (forget or forgot) to collect the pen.
Thx
