1. I smell a rat 感到有可疑之處
>>> Why are you looking at me? I smell a rat.

2. off the hook 脫身,擺脫危境
>>> My dad let me off the hook with a warming this time.

3. by hook or by crook 用各種手段,不擇手段
>>> I'll complete my assignment by hook or by crook.

很好！只是有些小小的错误。。warming = warning。句子还不错。迟些我会给答案哦em0011

公布小答案。。。。

1. I smell a rat = to suspect that something is wrong
~ Sally smelled a rat when she entered her room, she found out that she was robbed.

2. Off the hook = free from obligation
~ I'm very glad that i'm off the hook. I don't want to clean the room all by myself.

3. By hook or by crook = (by hook) by any means necessary
(by crook) to accomplish a goal, morality is not considered
~ Many rich people nowadays achieve their wealth by hook or by crook, regardless of any risks.
