Can't speak well in english is a shame for a Chinese?

Perhaps it is not, proficient in English can only show you are great in communication but if you can't doesn't means that you are weak.

it's not a shame matter but if u can speak good english, it would be a great advantage for you.

last time when i at college, i also couldn't speak english well... but we can try and learn to talk with other ppl... dun be shame.. shame couldn't help you to improve

i think it depends on which uni u're in, like in UTAR/KTAR it matters much less whether you're fluent in the english language

It is not considered as a shame
It can only be considered as problem in speaking
If you encountered problem in speaking, all you need to do is overcome
No one could help you either, you have to put in effort, be brave to speak, never fear of mistakes
