Lotus

After I bought it pretty much pull it apart and rebuild the whole engine. Because I thought might as well save the trouble and do it all at once. It's bored to 5.4 from the stock 5. And I am running light weight crank and forge pistons. At the same time also running higher cam, new ecu for the 928 that they use for racing. On the outside we went with light weight fly wheel. Stock transmission and diff so far seems to be holding up pretty well, brakes that I have the 6 pots front and 4 pots rear is holding up quite well too, as for suspension I'm using the adjustable now. Other than that threw in a racing fuel pump and had the oil pump from the GTS. So it took around 4 weeks to get everything done that time. Throttle body and all I just left stock with new cables and had a front sway bar from the GTS, so the engine should be good for another 150k km at least that's what I wanted is to have less trouble down the road. For the evora I plan and doing it because like you said, what other best way than learning other than doing it yourself ? Definitely use a lot of reference from the other lotus guys that races because a lot of stuff are tried before so it's faster to just do it the way that's proven. The good thing is that for the evora I don't really need to get anymore special tools because it requires mostly common tools

I'm in a lookout for the countach now, if I can find one that's decent, it's something that I'm willing to spend a lot of money on.

What year is your 300zx again ? It's so hard to find a left hand drive here and it's definitely one of the nicest looking car around apart from the 240z(which is iconic)

The reason why I upgraded my s4 is because I track it as well in the summer, so looking to do the same with the evora If I get it, where else can you get as much fun except the race track? :p

I daily drive my boxster and my c class, coz the s4 is really uncomfortable for long distance drive with that suspension setting I have, but it's definitely a blast a burn around town at night with my friends

Yea coz I told myself I didn't wanna cheap out and make sure do it right once and for all! Gain a lot of cuts and bruises and a burnt mark on my left hand for getting my hand stuck in the manifold lol, but walked away a proud owner now of my childhood dream car and experience and knowledge gained ! Only think I suffer is because of my AC delete I gotta drive with windows down on hotter day haha but it's well worth it with the excitement gain I get from the car!

Officially handed my boxster to my brother because he just got his licence so it's time to find another car to put in more fun as a daily driver and a track toy! But I'm gonna keep the AC this time coz of the road trip rally next summer

If I find a perfect black one with good records, I will refinance my house for it lol
