　　日前华纳兄弟互动娱乐公司以及Monolith Productions共同公开了《中土世界：暗影魔多(Middle-earth：Shadow of Mordor)》的新影像“武器与符文”，通过实际游戏片段为大家展示了本作的战斗细节，同时让大家了解如何在游戏中慢慢增强自己的能力。

　　《中土世界：暗影魔多》将于2014年10月7日发售，其对应平台则为PS3、PS4、XBOX 360、XBOX One和PC。预购本作的玩家可以获得“黑暗游戏”奖励包，其中将收录特别角色皮肤以及“力量测试”挑战模式。



Shadow of Mordor - New trailer and retail exclusives revealed

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Monolith Productions today revealed the Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Gameplay - Weapons and Runes video, showcasing how to upgrade Talion’s abilities throughout the game.

In addition, a number of new UK retail pre-order exclusives have been announced, with the details to be revealed in due course;

• Deadly Archer Rune - Talion will deal extra damage when executing ranged headshots against Sauron’s Captains

• Flame of Arnor Rune - Talion can ignite his blade by achieving a high combo count and incinerate his enemies

• Captain of the Watch / Hidden Blade Rune - “Captain of the Watch” character skin and the Hidden Blade Rune – Talion can deal extra damage when executing stealth attacks against Sauron’s Captains

• Orc Slayer Rune - Talion will decimate Sauron’s Captains with increased damage from special attacks

All those who pre-order Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will also receive access at the game’s launch to The Dark Ranger exclusive bonus pack, per the previously announced news.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor delivers a dynamic game environment where the player orchestrates their personal plan of vengeance as they bend Mordor to their will. The game begins on the night of Sauron’s return to Mordor, as his Black Captains brutally execute the Rangers of the Black Gate. Players become Talion, a ranger who loses his family and everything he holds dear, only to be returned from death by a mysterious Spirit of vengeance. As Talion’s personal vendetta unfolds, players uncover the mystery of the Spirit that compels him, discover the origin of the Rings of Power and confront the ultimate nemesis.

The Palantir app, available on the Apple Store here, will sync with game assets and the final game, to reveal additional layers of information, insights and fan-authored content, creating a unique second-screen experience. Use it in conjunction with the new Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Gameplay - Weapons and Runes video .

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will launch worldwide on 7th October, 2014 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor delivers a dynamic game environment where the player orchestrates their personal plan of vengeance as they bend Mordor to their will. • Dominate Your Enemies – See the world through Wraith Powers and uncover details about each unique enemy to aid Talion’s revenge; each foe has their own exploitable personality, memory and traits for players to study and manipulate.

• Bend Mordor to Your Will – Gamers turn enemies against each other by forcing them to Assassinate, Terrorize, Sacrifice or Spy. Based on the player’s actions with the Nemesis System, every enemy encountered is distinct and can evolve to become a personal archenemy through the course of the game.

• New Story in Middle-earth – Taking place in the time between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings Trilogies, players discover the origin of the Rings of Power and become the most feared warrior in Mordor.

• Grow Your Skills As You Kill – Advance skills and abilities, and upgrade weapons to become legendary through a system of rune rewards that are crafted according to the player’s strategy and their unique enemies.

Inside the Story of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor

From the very beginning, all of us here at Monolith Productions knew we had to go to great lengths to make Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor as authentic as possible. From the landscape, to the weapons, to the inhabitants, to the architecture — everything required extreme attention to detail, and our main story was no exception.

To make the story of Talion and the mysterious Wraith he’s connected to a reality, we worked with Lead Designer and Writer Christian Cantamessa (Red Dead Redemption). And to bring our Ranger of The Black Gate to life, we could think of none better than the esteemed Troy Baker (The Last of Us, BioShock Infinite, Batman: Arkham City). Together, we’re shaping this new tale set between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.

Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Monolith Productions released the Shadow of Mordor Gameplay – The Wraith trailer, offering an all-new look inside the gameplay of the highly anticipated action game Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. This trailer delves into the powers of the Wraith, who was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con to be Celebrimbor, the greatest Elven smith of the Second Age.





Talion and the Wraith

After being slaughtered alongside his family at the Black Gate, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor’s protagonist, Talion awakes as if from a long slumber and must put the pieces together as to why he has been denied the peace of death.

Talion realises he is inhabited by a mysterious Wraith, who is revealed to be Celebrimbor, the greatest Elven Smith of the Second Age. Celebrimbor was deceived by Sauron into working with him to forge the Rings of Power. After they made the Rings, Sauron betrayed and murdered Celebrimbor as well as his family in circumstances that mirror the death of Talion and his family. This connection unites the two heroes in their pursuit of the Dark Lord.

Who is Celebrimbor?

• One of the most powerful elves of the Second Age

• He was responsible for crafting the Rings of Power alongside Sauron

• Celebrimbor was murdered by Sauron. The spirits of the Elves are immortal within Middle-earth, so Celebrimbor chose not to return to the Undying Lands after he was killed

• Celebrimbor wants to destroy the Dark Lord; as Sauron does not have the One Ring, Celebrimbor can become powerful enough to challenge him within Mordor.

• The power of Celebrimbor, as the maker of the Rings, is very closely tied with the power of the Rings
