Necrobarista launches early 2019, adds PS4 version
《Necrobarista》2019年上半年正式发售 追加 PS4平台
Necrobarista, the cel-shaded visual novel, adventure game hybrid from Route 59 Games, will launch in early 2019 and release for PlayStation 4 in addition to the previously announced Switch and PC versions, the developer announced.
“Necrobarista is a fresh new take on the visual novel,” said Route 59 Games lead designer Kevin Chen. “After spending the past few years cultivating this robust blend of narrative elements, we look forward to sharing the fruits of our efforts with players when we launch next year and are happy to announce our friends in the PlayStation community can come along on this ride.”
Route 59 Games also announced that a free demo of Necrobarista will be available via Steam prior to its full release.
Here is an overview of the game, via Route 59 Games:
In a magical modern-day Melbourne, Australia, Necrobarista takes place within the confines of a supernatural coffee house whose patrons are not all of this world. Here, the dead can return to spend one final day on Earth. Indistinguishable from the living, these ghosts can mingle and resolve unfinished business before departing this realm for what awaits on the other side.
Told through a series of vignettes from the perspectives of several patrons, Necrobarista’s story centers on Maddy, the café’s manager and resident necromancer. While she does her best to keep the shop running smoothly, ferrying souls to the afterlife can have its complications.
The variety of vantage points is mirrored in Necrobarista’s cinematic approach to storytelling. Featuring a dynamic camera, the game pans from one angle to another with animation that brings its vivid world to life and distinguishing the experience from other titles in the genre.
Beyond scripted narrative moments, players are given the reins to explore the coffee shop’s 3D setting in a contemporary spin on classic point-and-click adventure style. In these sequences, players are free to move around the establishment and learn more about both it and the colorful cast of characters that call this place home – even if only for a brief moment in time.

Elea episode one launches September 6
《艾丽娅》第一章 9 月 6 日登陆Xbox One 和 Steam
转载 - 电玩巴士
The first episode of sci-fi adventure game Elea will launch for Xbox One and PC via Steam on September 6, publisher Soedesco and developer Kyodai announced.
Elea first launched via Steam Early Access in late April. The Xbox One version is now available for pre-order.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
Elea: Memories
Elea is a surreal sci-fi adventure game in which you play as space scientist Elea. In 2073, Earth was struck by a horrid childhood disease and Elea’s husband Ethan joined an expedition to colonize Solace, a habitable exoplanet, to save humanity from extinction. The interstellar ship he was on, Pilgrimage, went radio silent shortly after it reached planet Solace. Thirteen years later, Elea joins a recovery mission to investigate the faith of the expedition. What follows is a wondrous journey through space.
Features
• Unravel a rich, touching story inspired by books of classic sci-fi writers
• Submerge yourself in amazing graphics powered by Unreal Engine 4
• Discover gorgeous space environments, spectacular vistas and detailed interiors
• Expect the unexpected on this curious journey through outer space
Story
Elea is a game that takes the player on the deeply personal journey of a woman, whose life is marked by loss, grief and self-accusation in the aftermath of a global pandemic that turned her youngest boy into a raging psychopath. Luckily, an Earth-like exoplanet within an achievable distance from the Solar system had been recently discovered. Pooling volunteers from around the globe, a first-of-a-kind interstellar spacecraft was built and sent to colonize the yet unexplored planet. The gargantuan ship was named Pilgrimage, embodying the hopes of all of the humanity. To everyone’s dismay, shortly after a successful arrival, the Pilgrimage went on total radio silence. What caused it remains a mystery.
13 years later, research starship Recovery has arrived on site to investigate the fate of the expedition. The player takes the role of the space scientist River Elea Catherine Jones. She is driven above all by a personal goal – to find her husband Ethan, who occupied a prominent position on the Pilgrimage’s scientific crew. By putting the character up against events and phenomena which are beyond human grasp, the game aims to defy the conventional notions of personal accountability, choice and meaning of life. It is a story about our fragility as a species, about finding solace through surrender.
