Surf World Series Releasing Later this Month for PS4, Xbox One and PC, Demo Out Now
《冲浪世界系列赛》将于这个月尾发售 体验版现已推出

　　位于英国的独立游戏工作室Climax官方宣布，他们制作的冲浪游戏《冲浪世界系列赛(Surf World Series)》将在 2017 年 8 月 29 日正式登陆 PS4，8 月 30 日登陆 Xbox One 和 Steam，售价为14.99美元，目前本作的试玩版已经在 PS4 和 Xbox One 上线。

　　《冲浪世界系列赛》的开发团队聘请了英国知名的冲浪选手Tom Lowe作为顾问，还塬了世界上最知名的五个冲浪圣地，玩家可以在本作当中循序渐进的掌握冲浪的技巧，逐步征服这些美丽的海岸线。游戏中除了有44个单人挑战以外，还拥有最多支持16名角色的多人模式，该模式共有叁个不同的玩法。《冲浪世界系列赛》中还有等级的设定，等级的提升将逐步为玩家解开近千种自定义内容，十分丰富。

Surf World Series coming to PS4 on 29th August, Xbox One and PC 30th August

UK-based independent developer Climax Studios today announced that their upcoming surf game Surf World Series will be releasing on PlayStation 4 on August 29th, and Xbox One and PC (Steam) on 30th August, priced at  $14.99. A free demo version of Surf World Series is available now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and on Steam later this week.

Surf World Series celebrates the thrill of pure arcade-style surfing, where players will be able to:

• Ride monster waves at 5 of the world’s most iconic shorelines, from the infamous Bell’s Beach, Australia, to the extreme waves at Waimea Bay, Hawaii.

• Become masters of the waves, learning increasingly difficult tricks along the way, from nailing kickflips and cutbacks, to landing massive aerials and navigating treacherous tubes.

Valve Announces Artifact, a Dota 2 Card Game

　　Valve 今日在旗下线上游戏《Dota 2》2017 国际邀请赛（Ti7）现场公开新作，以《Dota 2》为主题的数字卡牌游戏《神器（暂译， Artifact）》。

　　这场《神器》曝光活动主持人 Sean "Day9” Plott 形容，《神器》将会结合包括推线、英雄与购买物品等元素。

　　根据欧洲媒体 Game Informer 报导，《神器》将结合三路玩法，玩家可以同时最多使用五名英雄，并可为其装备；Valve 今日仅曝光 LOGO 预告影片，实际游戏画面与确切玩法仍待 Valve 公开。

Street Fighter EX’s Allen Snider Returns to Arika’s Mysterious PS4 Fighting Game
来自《街头霸王EX》的Allen Shnider 参战 ARIKA 的神秘新作

　　曾经制作《街头霸王EX》系列的 ARIKA 工作室在今年的 EVO 期间公布了他们的神秘格斗新作，虽然到现在为止，这款游戏的名字还没有公布，但开发团队在今天宣布《街头霸王EX》中美国空手道家Allen Snider确认将在本作中出现。

　　在《街头霸王EX》当中，Allen参加了全美武术大赛，但是在首场比赛中就被Ken打败。经历过这次惨败之后，Allen努力训练，学习了很多新的格斗技巧。

　　ARIKA工作室在愚人节期间通过一段视频公布了这款新作，但当时很多人都以为这只是一个玩笑。随着EVO的正式公布，这款格斗作品才真真正正的被大家所注意。虽然本作中有来自《街头霸王EX》的角色参战，但是这款游戏和该系列的关系还没有公布。

　　这款神秘新作将在今年年末展开 Beta 测试，2018年内在 PS4 平台以独占的形式正式上市。



Arika has released a new teaser trailer for its “Mysterious Fighting Game,” which was announced at Evolution 2017, revealing Allen Snider from Street Fighter EX as playable fighter.

Allen Snider joins the previously announced playable characters Kairi, Shirase, Garuda, Skullomania, and Darun Mister.

Arika’s “Mysterious Fighting Game” is due out worldwide for PlayStation 4 in 2018. A playable beta / sever test will be held at the end of 2017.

Pankapu for PS4, Xbox One, and PC launches September 20

Pankapu will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 20, developer Too Kind Studio announced. A Switch version will be released at a later date.

The first episode of the game, the “Prologue,” is currently available on Steam. The second episode, “The Last Aegis,” will launch alongside the console release, which consists of both episodes.

Here’s an overview of the game, via Too Kind Studio:

Pankapu is a colorful action platformer in which you can transform freely from Warrior to Archer or Mage. Switch wisely between your three Aegis and master them in order to fulfill your destiny and defeat Gangreyn, the Prince of Nightmares.

After the release of its Prologue in September 2016, Pankapu is back with its last opus: The Last Aegis. The full game will be released on consoles and Steam in September 2017 with a new Aegis to switch to: the Mage. Release date and more info to be unveiled at the booth.

Key features include:

Action / Platformer in 2D, told like a tale.
Two parallel stories, between dreams and reality.
Three Aegis, acting like jobs, switchable in real time

Hidden Dragon: Legend ‘Weapons Montage’ trailer

Oasis Games has released a new trailer for Hidden Dragon: Legend showcasing the weapons players will employ in the China-set 2.5D action platformer.

The player character can equip over a dozen different blade weapons, from a basic sword to enchanted blaes powered by elemental and divine forces.

Players will start the game with the “Rusted Iron Sword,” but will gain elemental weapons such as the “Shattered Cloud” (a blade infused with the power of wind) or “Tiger Tooth” (a sword inlaid with a row of tiger teeth that can cut into bone). Other, even more powerful weapons that can be unlocked include the “Hidden Dragon” (a sword forged from the remains of the mighty artifact, Dragon Cauldron), or quick-striking daggers such as the poison-dealing “Blood Drainer” and water-based “Storm Breaker.”

Set in ancient China, Hidden Dragon: Legend challenges players to battle an array of fierce foes, jump and grapple to avoid obstacles and enemies, build their character through a deep, RPG-style skill tree and solve puzzles in the heat of battle. Players will utilize all their skills while engaging in hack and slash combat, unleashing stunning combos and performing gravity-defying acrobatics. To succeed in the game, players will navigate their way through tough enemies, powerful bosses and Metroidvania-style puzzles while building and customizing their fighter for their preferred style through an extensive skill tree.

In the game world, competing factions vie to obtain a powerful object called the Dragon Cauldron, which grants inhuman powers at the cost of sanity and reason. When the player character finds he has been put under the spell of the Dragon Cauldron by a dark faction, making him a mere puppet forced to kill, he ventures forth to settle the score. Are you ready to take weapon in hand, face the denizens of darkness and write your own heroic tale in Hidden Dragon: Legend?

Hidden Dragon: Legend will launch for PlayStation 4 in Q3 2017 for $19.99.

Kalypso Media x Games Farm Teaser: "Prepare for the Awakening..."

　　曾经发行《城市帝国》、《海岛大亨》的Kalypso公布了一款新作的神秘预告片，从这段视频的风格来看，这款将在2018年内登陆PS4、Xbox One和PC的新作很有可能是Games Farm在2014年推出的《暗影：异教徒王国(Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms)》的续作。

　　《暗影：异教徒王国》是《祭典：异教徒王国(Kult: Heretic Kingdoms)》的续作，其故事发生在前作之后的20年，玩家在游戏中将扮演以为吞食了死灵之魂的恶魔，他将在死亡世界和尘世中游走，最终选择拯救世界还是毁灭世界，选择权都在玩家自己的手上。《暗影：异教徒之王》的玩法是非常经典的俯视角玩法，除了扣人心弦的主线任务之外，游戏中也有不少支线任务等着玩家去完成，揭秘内容也同样丰富。本作在推出之后获得了玩家们的好评，但由于版权问题，游戏的开发遇到了一些不可避免的阻碍。在收回版权并完成《维京：人中之狼》的开发之后，Games Farm继续这个系列的开发也是意料之中的事情。

　　值得一提的是，近年来由Kalypso制作的游戏都加入了简体中文的支持，因此这款新作也很有希望加入中文。

Mars-set Horror Game 'Moons of Madness' Announced for PS4, Xbox One and PC



Norwegian Independent Studio Rock Pocket Games Poised to Announce Genre Redefining Psychological Horror Science-Fiction Game “Moons of Madness”

Critically acclaimed independent game developer Rock Pocket Games announced today that their new H.P. Lovecraft inspired Martian tale Moons of Madness will blast off to PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2018. Moons of Madness is a first person, psychological horror game that explores the internal struggles of astronaut Shane Newehart and the supernatural events that occur on research station Trailblazer Alpha, the first scientific outpost on the planet Mars.

In Moons of Madness, Rock Pocket Games integrates the cosmicism style found in H.P. Lovecraft’s hallmark to the game’s narrative, environment and gameplay; the sense that ordinary life is a thin shell over a reality that is so alien and abstract in comparison that merely contemplating it would damage the sanity of the ordinary person.

To render this lyrical experience on screen, Moons of Madness rely on three main core mechanics:

• Combining hard science, based on meticulous analysis of NASA and Space X research, with Lovecraftian horror.

• An innovative feature called “Zone Outs” that simulates Lovecraftian madness. Players are exposed to hallucinations and visions they play through as part of the game. They have to understand what the visions are expressing as they foreshadow certain events mapping out the character’s history.

• Exploring mental illness through various game modes without antagonizing the medical condition itself.

The blood pumping "reality wreck" trailer which can be viewed here gives us a glimpse into Moons of Madness intricate conundrum where main character Shane Newehart lives on Mars an edgy life where the lines between reality and fiction can shatter and blur at any moment.

A playable version of Moons of Madness will be available to the Gamescom audience later on this month. It will be showcased as part of the Indie Arena Booth, Hall 10.1 A-020.

Johnny Depp's Infinitum Nihil To Produce TV-Series Based on Funcom's Secret World IP

Funcom is excited to share the news that Johnny Depp’s Infinitum Nihil and G4C Innovation’s Gudrun Giddings have partnered to produce The Secret World, a TV series based on Funcom’s massively multiplayer online game The Secret World and its reincarnation, the shared-world online RPG Secret World Legends. The TV series is based on the universe of the Secret World IP and centers on a team of undercover agents and the shadowy war between secret societies, the Illuminati, Dragon and the Templar. Central to the plot is also the battle against the supernatural in an adventure that spans across our world, multiple dimensions, and incorporates the realms of ancient myths and legends as well as today’s conspiracy theories and headline news.

The pilot was written by James V. Hart (Hook, Dracula, Contact) and Jake Hart. Johnny Depp, Christi Dembrowski, Sam Sarkar and Gudrun Giddings will produce together with Showrunner Pam Veasey. (CSI-NY). CAA (Creative Artists Agency) is packaging.

“The Secret World universe is full of stories just waiting to be told,” says Funcom CEO Rui Casais. “From secret societies to myths and legends that are all coming true, The Secret World captures some of humanity’s greatest mysteries and asks “what if?”. Nine Parchments characters trailer



Frozenbyte has released a new trailer for co-op “blast-em-up” Nine Parchments, introducing the game’s cast of playable characters.

The cast includes eight wizardling apprentices from various backgrounds, including a guest appearance by Amadeus from the Trine series.

Nine Parchments is currently in the final stages of development, and will launch later in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. The Switch version will be playable for the first time at Gamescom 2017 next week, and the Japanese version will be playable for the first time at Tokyo Game Show 2017 in September.

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope 'Feature Spotlight #1: Rebuilding' Video

　　2014年，Mavelous AQL 宣布《牧场物语》系列的英文版名称改为《STORY OF SEASONS》。而此前《牧场物语》系列的北美发行商Natsume拥有《Harvest Moon》的商标权利，他们选择使用这个名称继续推出自己的作品。本作并不是《牧场物语》系列的作品。

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Rebuilding Overview

Hi, everyone! My name is Taka, and I’m the producer for Harvest Moon titles here at Natsume Inc. Today, we’re kicking off the first in a series of Feature Spotlights for Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, a new title coming to PC, PS4, and Switch!

One of the exciting new features in Harvest Moon: Light of Hope is the rebuilding aspect of the game. Since you've landed on an island that's been hit by a severe storm, most of the buildings have been destroyed when you first arrive. Therefore, it's your job to rebuild them so that the villagers who used to reside there will return to the island.

Rebuilding will start out fairly easy. For example, Sam the merchant's house will only require a few pieces of lumber to rebuild. However, as you proceed through the game, the more challenging the items to rebuild the various buildings across the island will be to acquire!

And in addition to houses, you'll need to repair things like bridges that were also damaged in the storm to access new and interesting areas!

Rebuilding is just one of the new and returning features in Harvest Moon: Light of Hope. Stay tuned as we reveal more exclusive content about the first Harvest Moon game for PC, Switch, PlayStation 4 being published in North America by Natsume Inc. and in Europe by Rising Star Games.
