Hello all!

When I was in the UK staying with my host family, I told my host mom that I really liked potato chips. The next day, I had fries as a side dish for dinner. Then only I remembered chips mean fries in the UK. Since then, I have been very conscious of the differences between British and American English.

These are some examples that are more commonly used.

However, of course, vocabulary is not the only difference between British and American English. Are you craving and hungry for learning more?

I always encourage learners to learn English in a fun and stress-free way. One of the ways is to learn vocabulary or rather the senses of words through English songs.

There isn't so much of learning grammar through songs though. We seldom see good grammar in songs because a song composer might change the grammar in order to fit the beat, rhythm, or rhyme in a song.

Have you come across any songs with funny/perfect grammar? An example for you guys and hope it'll make your day.

Let's learn standard English!
