Ubisoft bringing Assassin’s Creed 'The American Saga' to PS3, Xbox 360 & PC
《刺客教条》将推出以美洲为中心的三部曲《美洲合辑》

        Ubisoft 在昨日（9 月9 日）宣布将会推出一个结合《刺客教条3》与之后所推出的两款以美洲作为舞台的作品的同捆版《刺客教条：美洲合辑》，目前暂定将于2014年10 月28 日在欧美等地区贩售，对应平台则是PS3 / Xbox 360 两个平台。

        本次合辑同时包含三部作品：

        《刺客教条3 Assassin’s Creed III》：故事叙述18 世纪的美洲大陆上，13 个殖民地革命开战一触即发，游戏主角康纳身处这动荡的美国独立革命战争时代，身为莫霍克印第安人与英国混血儿的他，在这个视他为外来者的世界找寻个人存在的意义。

        《刺客教条4：黑旗 Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag》：以十六、十七世纪的加勒比海盗为主题，故事发生15 年后，阿德瓦勒已是一名成熟老练的刺客、同时成为了「信行家号」（ Experto Crede）的船长。他将在《自由的呐喊》所带来的全新地点太子港展开一段解放奴隶的行动，运用招牌武器开山刀以及新型火枪，藉由新的游玩方式与当地马龙人所组成的反抗组织合作，将自幼以来根深蒂固的仇恨付诸于实际行动，挺身而出对抗这一切不公不义的暴虐压榨。

      《刺客教条：自由使命HD Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD》：以美国纽奥良为舞台，是以奴隶贸易为背景。初次场的女主角艾芙琳活跃的场景新奥尔良是奴隶贸易重镇，时间处于奴隶贸易颠峰期的18世纪末；艾芙琳本身则带有黑奴血统，其对抗的圣殿骑士团靠奴隶贸易获取暴利。

Assassin's Creed Identity soft-launched for iPhone, iPad in Australia & New Zealand





Ubisoft Rolls Out Assassin’s Creed Identity in Australia and New Zealand

Today, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Identity, the Assassin’s Creed franchise’s first action-RPG for mobile platforms, is “soft launching” in Australia and New Zealand for iPhone and iPad. Ubisoft plans to incorporate feedback from players in the region into the final development of the game, which is planned for release in 2015.

Assassin’s Creed Identity is being developed by Blue Byte, a Ubisoft studio. In the game, players can create and customise their own Assassins to tackle thousands of missions in one of fans’ favourite settings: the Italian Renaissance. The game is powered by Unity engine, the powerful rendering engine fully integrated with a complete set of intuitive tools that allows players to experience Assassin’s Creed’s renowned freedom of movement on mobile devices for the first time. The use of Unity also aids in the team’s development of fully-recreated 3D maps of famous places, like Florence or the Coliseum. Assassin’s Creed Identity also features a dynamic crowd system, time and weather presets and real-time lighting, all of which bring the different locations to life.

“This soft launch is an important step in the development process for Assassin’s Creed Identity,” said Cyril Voiron, Head of Mobile developments at Blue Byte, a Ubisoft studio. “We’re looking forward to receiving feedback on the game from players in Australia and New Zealand, and think that by leveraging Unity engine, along with assets from previous Assassin’s Creed console titles, Assassin’s Creed Identity will deliver an authentic Assassin’s Creed experience on mobile devices.”

Ubisoft Toronto managing director Jade Raymond leaves company

Ubisoft Toronto Founder Jade Raymond Departs to Pursue New Opportunities

Today, Ubisoft announced that after 10 years of collaboration, the company and Jade Raymond have agreed to pursue future opportunities separately. Alexandre Parizeau, a founding team member of the Ubisoft Toronto studio, replaces Raymond as managing director.

During her tenure at Ubisoft, Raymond was producer on the first Assassin's Creed (2004-2007) and served as executive producer on Assassin's Creed II (2008-2009), Watch_Dogs (2008-2009) and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist (2010-2013). She also opened the Ubisoft Toronto studio and served as its managing director since 2009, a role she will turn over to Parizeau starting October 29.

“I've spent 10 extraordinary years at Ubisoft, and I am proud to have been part of many of the best teams in the industry making truly remarkable games,” said Raymond. “This is one of the hardest decisions of my career, but the Toronto studio is strong and on a solid path. I’m confident that now is a good time for me to transition leadership of the studio to Alex and to pursue my other ambitions and new opportunities. Stay tuned for more on what’s next for me, but for now, I'd like to thank Ubisoft for its partnership through the years, and I wish them the very best in all their next endeavours."

With more than 15 years in the game industry, Parizeau has an impressive range of experience across many facets of the business. As a founding core member of Ubisoft Toronto studio, Parizeau is a proven and trusted team builder and leader. He also served as senior producer on Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist, and producer on Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction and Rainbow Six Vegas. Parizeau will report to Yannis Mallat, CEO of Ubisoft Montreal and Toronto, and will oversee Toronto’s continued role as a key contributor to the development of some of the biggest brands at Ubisoft, as well as a number of unannounced projects.

“On behalf of Ubisoft, I’d like to thank Jade for her leadership and many contributions over the years, and wish her all the best in her next adventures,” said Mallat. “The Toronto studio is a key part of the Ubisoft global network, and Alex has been at the heart of the studio’s growth over the years. He was the obvious choice to lead this talented group of people as they continue to develop amazing games.”
