　　SABER Interactive 今日在年度游戏奖项「游戏大奖（The Game Awards）」颁奖典礼上，公开以布莱德·彼特主演电影《末日之战（World War Z）》改编同名游戏《末日之战》。

　　《末日之战》是由马克·福斯特执导、布莱德·彼特主演的美国动作恐怖电影，故事描述前联合国调查员杰瑞·蓝恩与妻女开车在公路上行驶时，突然前方发生爆炸，警察被失控车辆撞死，而他们逃离汽车后，广场上却冒出了几百名疯狂咬人的殭尸 ....

　　PC/PS4/XboxOne《末日之战》尚未公布正式上市日期。



Saber Interactive & Paramount Pictures Announce ‘World War Z’

Independent developer Saber Interactive has announced World War Z, a new four-player cooperative game inspired by Paramount Pictures’ blockbuster film franchise. Featuring massive swarms of zombies who rush their living prey, World War Z is in production for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC.

“World War Z is a name synonymous with heart-pounding fear and action, and we’re excited to finally capture that energy in a fast-paced and gruesome experience crafted specifically for modern consoles and PC,” said Saber Interactive CEO Matt Karch.

World War Z’s co-op campaign focuses on unique survivor stories and missions around the globe, including New York, Moscow and Jerusalem. Use traps, barriers and the environment strategically to stay alive while unleashing a storm of firepower with a variety of weapons on the unrelenting hordes of the undead.

“Saber has tons of experience working on high-quality games and they’ve done a great job capturing the massive, frantic hordes of ‘zekes’ that sets our franchise apart,” said Bil Bertini, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Licensing for Paramount Pictures. “They have created a fiercely original experience in the rich universe of World War Z that fans are sure to love.”

《末日之战 World War Z》改编同名游戏玩家死后会变成僵尸

　　《末日之战 World War Z》作为一款最多可以4人合作的第三人称射击游戏，从此前公布的预告来看，相比起Valve 社经典的《求生之路(Left 4 Dead)》系列来说节奏还要更快一些。而在今年的E3上，《末日之战》的编剧 Oliver Hollis-Leick 和设计师 Craig Sherman 接受了媒体采访，谈到了游戏中的剧情、僵尸设定以及布拉德·皮特等等话题。

　　Oliver表示，他们既喜欢《末日之战》原著的故事，但同样喜欢电影中的地点，因此他们将会在游戏中结合这两点，在游戏中利用小说中的叙事手法创作了三个章节的幸存者故事，分别发生在纽约、莫斯科和耶路撒冷，都是电影中地点。而E3上展示的地点是纽约，玩家们会在三个章节中，从摩天大楼顶部一路杀到地铁站。

　　同时Oliver谈到，布拉德·皮特作为《末日之战》电影的主演虽然不会直接在游戏中出现，但会在游戏中有所提及，例如他们制作了一个名为“Lane Masking”的手雷，而皮特在电影中扮演的角色就叫Gerry Lane。

　　而Sherman还为大家介绍到，演示中并没有出现“公牛（Bull）”这种僵尸，而它是身着装甲的巨型敌人，他自己没有算过要多少子弹才能打倒，但绝对需要团队里的4个人齐心协力的合作。此外，特殊的僵尸还会有尖叫者（Screamer）、潜伏者（Lurker）、爬行者（Creeper，会突然跳出来打你），而当僵尸被击倒时，它们会试着爬向你并用手抓你的腿。Oliver还补充道，即使是僵尸潮中都会拥有不同体型、不同属性的僵尸，例如它们的速度不同等等。

　　不过游戏中没有僵尸Boss，他们而是选择在设计的时候将僵尸潮的行为视作是一个整体，所以虽然没有大Boss，但这个会让游戏后续的流程变得越来越难，你将会在莫斯科半结冰的河里挣扎时，看到一大群僵尸从克林姆林宫向你冲过来。

　　那么面对这样庞大的僵尸潮，万一玩家死了之后会怎么样呢？Oliver表示，玩家们一旦倒下就会出现倒计时，需要队友拉你起来，如果一旦最终死亡，那么这个角色就会变成僵尸潮中的一员，虽然之后玩家有机会再复活，但那具躯体将会永远成为尸潮的一部分。

　　《末日之战 World War Z》游戏为四人合作射击游戏，游戏世界将从莫斯科到耶路撒冷到纽约，结合世界多处生存者的不同故事与任务。 玩家在游戏中将策略性地使用陷阱、障碍与环境来减缓殭尸的攻击，并与朋友组队使用多样化武器与炸药，来对殭尸展开反击。

　　研发团队表示，《末日之战 World War Z》采用 Saber Interactive 的 Swarm 引擎，这个引擎主要处理呈现大量的敌人，以便让玩家可以在游戏中面对数以百计的殭尸袭来，若是角色呆站在原地可能立刻被淹没。 游戏利用 Swarm 引擎可以一次产生数百个殭尸、就像电影中一样，这些殭尸不会是呆呆的、制式化动作，游戏强调具有多样化的殭尸机制，殭尸可能会爬过其他同伴以穿越路障或高墙，甚至躲开玩家的子弹等。

　　玩家将需要藉由策略合作来面对如此庞大且多样化机制的殭尸，PC/PS4/Xbox One《末日之战 World War Z》预定 2019 年问世。
