-3x3 MIMO antenna scheme for dedicated, directional-amplified signal connectivity. (It
transmits/receives in specific, focused directions rather than just creating a singular signal umbrella.)

-Gigabit WAN/LAN ports.

-Dual-band. (2.4 GHz/5GHz. Most people won't use the 5 GHz band, though. But it's less crowded than the 2.4 GHz band.)

-Has a micro-SD slot. Presumably for upgrading the flash memory. (Although it seems that no one is really sure what purpose this will serve yet.)

-Detachable antennae with SMA connectors...which means you can upgrade them for higher gain.

-DD-WRT support is imminent. (Thanks to Fractal here.)
