EPS = Profit attributed to ordinary share
Ordinary Shares

= EPS是1个SHARE赚多少钱

请问那个Profit attributed to ordinary share是什么？
是不是Net Profit before interest - dividend?

= net profit after preference dividend...

eps= (net profit - preference share interest) / outstanding ordinary share number

preference share = 优先股
是一种没有投票权的股票，好处在于不管公司赚还是亏都有股息分好像fixed deposit的意思，
公司破产也是第一个分到钱先.

这个算式的解释其实不难， eps是earning per share的意思，其实就是一股公司帮你赚多少profit的意思

net profit 必须减掉preference share interest 是因为公司必须先把盈利分给优先股，普通股才有的分

那debentures的interest没有影响对不对？不需要减是吧？

不需要的, debenture interest 已经在net profit之前减了，
只需要减preference interest
