Zaheer is also known as Saddam Hussien is just 23 years old. He came to Malaysia with a company offering grass cutting service around Subang Jaya. He works from 8am in the morning until 2pm noon and is paid only RM 1,000 monthly with days off during weekends
As he works until 2pm, he uses his extra time to cut grasses around housing area in USJ. There are no fixed income but averagely he is able to cut grasses for 5 medium size houses from 2pm to 7pm. He earns around RM 25 for each house that he cuts for. He estimates that he earns around RM 125 extra a day and RM 300 extra daily during weekends.
(This is just a guess from me based on his average extra work days and payment received)
Average weekdays income RM 625 ( weekdays) + RM 600 ( weekends) = RM 1225 weekly for part time job.
Average part time income monthly = RM 4,900
Fixed income monthly from employment = RM 1,000
Estimated income monthly = RM 5,900
Saddam Hussien shares his accommodation with 10 persons and he only travels by bicycle while staying nearly 3 years here. I believe he has more savings compared to overseas graduation who has worked in Malaysia for 3 years
