Forza Motorsport 6 is Coming – Starring the All-new Ford GT!
The new year may have just begun but already there is major news to announce for the Forza world: Forza Motorsport 6 is coming!
Today, at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios officially announced Forza Motorsport 6, which is in development and will be arriving exclusively on Xbox One. The news came alongside the announcement of the worldwide debut of the all-new Ford GT, which will serve as the cover car for Forza Motorsport 6. In addition, Ford’s performance vehicle line-up will appear in Forza Motorsport 6. This includes the GT, Shelby GT350 Mustang, and the F-150 Raptor, debuted by Ford earlier today at the auto show. As First in Forza vehicles, Forza fans will have the opportunity to drive these cars when they debut in Forza 6.
“Just as Ford has pushed the boundaries of car technology in GT, Forza Motorsport 6 will embrace that spirit of innovation as our most technically advanced racing simulation to date, offering a fun and realistic automotive experience for both car lovers and gamers,” said Dan Greenawalt, creative director at Turn 10 Studios. “We’re excited to unveil gameplay at E3 in June.”

Players in Forza Motorsport 6 will soon be able to race in post-nuclear style thanks to two new Fallout 4-themed cars coming to Forza 6 on Xbox One. Turn 10 Studios and Bethesda Game Studios, the makers of the highly anticipated Fallout 4, today announced a partnership that will give fans the chance to experience Fallout in the Xbox One-exclusive racing game.

Rumor: Forza 6 and Forza Horizon 3 Coming to Windows 10
Forza Motorsport 6 and Gears of War 4 also rumored to be coming to Windows 10
New rumors about Microsoft's gaming plans for Windows 10 claim that the company is planning to release a version of its Xbox One racing sim Forza Motorsport 6 for the PC OS as an exclusive for the Windows Store.
According to WPDang, this is all part of Microsoft's strategy to beef up its Windows 10 game efforts, with the Windows Store as the exclusive outlet. In addition to Forza Motorsport 6, the site claims, via unnamed sources, that Gears of War 4 might also be released for Windows 10 in addition to Xbox One, along with Scalebound. It also mentions a previously unannounced game, Forza Horizon 3, as coming to both Xbox One and Windows 10.
Microsoft announced last week that Quantum Break will be released for Windows 10 on April 5, the same day as the Xbox One version, with pre-orders for the console game getting the Windows 10 version for free. The company also announced in 2015 that the Xbox One games Gears of War Ultimate Edition, ReCore, Halo Wars 2 and Killer Instinct will all be coming to Windows 10 at some point.

Xbox and Lamborghini Partner for the Next Chapter of Forza
The 86th annual Geneva International Motor Show kicks off this week in Geneva, Switzerland – and in the spirit of the event, we’ve got some big Forza news to share. Xbox and Forza developer Turn 10 Studios are partnering up with Lamborghini to feature the all-new Lamborghini Centenario super sports car as the cover car of the next chapter in the critically-acclaimed Forza racing series.
We’re not quite ready to unveil the title or any big details on the next Forza game yet – you’ll have to wait for our Xbox media briefing at June 2016’s E3 for that – but the Centenario will be available “First in Forza,” which means that millions of Xbox One owners across the globe get to experience the virtual version of this incomparable car before it makes its debut in the real world. With its V12 architecture, the Centenario’s naturally aspirated engine produces 770 horsepower, powers from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, and from 0-300 km/h in 23.5 seconds – with a top speed of more than 350 km/h.
In other words, it’s really freaking fast. And you get to see it for the first time in Forza!

Forza Motorsport 6 NASCAR Expansion
America’s most popular form of motorsport is coming to the best-selling racing game of this generation. The NASCAR Expansion for Forza Motorsport 6 arrives today, bringing NASCAR to the world stage. This is an experience that only the comprehensive world of Forza Motorsport can deliver. The expansion features an all-new NASCAR World Tour career with over 10 hours of racing, representing the ultimate “What if…?” for racers around the world.

Forza Horizon 3 Goes Gold and Welcomes Halo Warthog
The worldwide release of Forza Horizon 3 is coming up on Sept. 27 (and four days earlier on Sept. 23 for Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition owners), and today we crossed the latest milestone ahead of launch: Forza Horizon 3 has officially gone gold! With the game off for final pressings of retail discs and setup for digital release, we’re celebrating the good news with some additional updates, including Windows 10 PC specs, the full Xbox Live achievements list, and a very special addition to the Forza Horizon 3 vehicle roster.
Welcome the Warthog
Over the past six weeks, in our Forza Garage series, we’ve introduced all of the 350+ vehicles that will be arriving for Forza Horizon 3 at launch. Well, almost all of them. Today, we’re unveiling a unique addition to the Forza Horizon 3 lineup, a vehicle that has long been requested by both the Forza and Halo communities. For the first time in any Forza game, you can now drive the most famous ground vehicle in the Halo universe – the Warthog!
The 2554 AMG Transport Dynamics M12S Warthog CST is a civilian transport alternative to its militaristic cousin, the M12 Force Application Vehicle. What it may lack in brute force – you won’t find a turret on this version – it more than makes up for with its 720 bhp twin turbo V8, making it significantly faster than its FAV counterpart. The Warthog CST in Forza Horizon 3 is also ideally suited for the rough and tumble landscape of Australia. With the most advanced suspension in Forza Horizon 3 (with more than 70 cm of suspension travel), plus advanced dampening, you won’t find the combination of power and stability like this anywhere else in the Horizon Festival.
The M12S Warthog CST will be available at launch for Forza Horizon 3, and will be sent as a free download to everyone who has played either Halo 5: Guardians or Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One. Eligible players will receive codes to download the Warthog via an Xbox Live Message, and codes will begin to be sent out during the week of Sept. 5. In addition, players who have not played an Xbox One Halo game will still have the chance to earn the Warthog via a special #Forzathon event coming to Forza Horizon 3 in October.
We’re celebrating the unveiling of the M12S Warthog CST with an upcoming in-depth look at the making of the vehicle in a very special edition of Heavy Metal Affliction. We’ll be chatting with the Halo masterminds at 343 Industries, as well as the team at Playground Games, on what it took to bring this iconic vehicle into the world of Forza Horizon 3. Xbox Live Achievements
One thing is for sure: there’s a ton to do in Forza Horizon 3. From brand new features like Campaign co-op play for up to four players, cross-play capability between Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms, to the reintroduction of Auction House and Storefronts, and new events to try out (or customize yourself, using the new Horizon Blueprint feature), it’s clear that Forza Horizon 3 will be a joy to explore for casual and hardcore players alike. Recommended PC Specs
We know lots of players are preparing to enjoy Forza Horizon 3 on Windows 10 PCs and today we’re revealing the recommended specifications. Naturally, Forza Horizon 3 will require DirectX 12-enabled machines and Windows 10. Check out details on these recommended specs at ForzaMotorsport.net.
Forza Horizon 3 players will have a tremendous amount of adjustment options when playing on Windows 10. From basic options like full screen, vertical sync and resolution, to more advanced adjustments like quality settings for motion blur, mirrors, reflection, static and dynamic geometry, we’re giving Windows 10 players the power to play the way they want. Whether playing on the recommended specs or pushing the hardware limits to deliver the ultimate 4K racing experience, Forza Horizon 3 players will have lots of options for making the most of their experience.
One additional note, we know there are a lot of PC players who want to know more about using wheels. Look for an update on wheel support in Forza Horizon 3 on Windows 10 in an upcoming story in the future.
Language Support
Finally, we’re also excited to share today that Forza Horizon 3 will be fully localized (voice and text) for English, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German and Spanish (Mexican), and includes language support (text) for Italian, Polish, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
