官方于早些时候发售的《街头霸王4》将会在追加全新角色、关卡和模式后升级为《超级街头霸王4 / Ultra Street Fighter IV》，游戏将会登陆PS3、Xbox360以及pc平台，发售日期暂定于2014年年初，游戏的封面包装和新角色的截图等情报也一并得到了公开。
这个升级版将会追加许多全新的内容，包括:
新角色: 五名全新的角色被追加到游戏中，包括Poison, Hugo, Elena, Rolento和一个全新的在以往街霸作品未曾登场的角色。
新关卡: 六个全新的战斗地图关卡：Pitstop 109, Mad Gear Hideout, Cosmic Elevator, Blast Furnace, Half Pipe和Jurassic Era Research Facility这六个关卡。
平衡性调整: 根据玩家对《街头霸王4》39名角色的能力和战斗评价进行的反馈，在加入新角色的同时让整个游戏更加的平衡。
新模式和系统: 官方尚未公开
《超级街头霸王4 / Ultra Street Fighter IV》将会提供下载版供玩家下载，价格为399美元，而已经购买过《街头霸王4街机版》的玩家可以以14.99美元的价格购买这些追加内容，完全版的游戏将会包含前作的全部DLC服装。

《终极街霸4》将新增5名新角色 - 我们目前已经知道了其中4名，毒药，雨果，伊莲娜和罗兰多，现在，卡普空公布了四段视频，分别展示了这四个人的超级连招，玩家可以通过这种方式，华丽地终结敌人。
每段视频都分别展示了终极连招1和终极连招2，我们看到毒药依然擅长用大长白腿踢人要害，而萌大呆雨果则愿意把人丢来丢去，最后用腹肌夹死你。
《超级街霸4》不仅新增了角色，而且将引入红色专注攻击和终极双倍连击系统。目前卡普空尚未公布准确发售日期，但预计会在明年4月份以后，EVO格斗大赛之前。

《究极街头霸王4》家用机版在街机版之后发售
CAPCOM旗下的格斗游戏街霸4发展到现在的《究极街头霸王4》已经是近第4版了，而上周CAPCOM方面也确定该作将于2014年4月率先在日本地区的街机厅面市，而有关家用机版的消息，CAPCOM日前也表态家用机版会在街机版面市不久之后发售。
有关街霸4系列的泛滥问题，CAPCOM公司也作出了解释：“我们一直努力确保街霸系列在全球的影响力，我们每天收到超过2万条留言，而我们也不得不考虑玩家们的心情并确保作出最有利的变化来取悦玩家。”
《究极街头霸王4》家用机版将登陆XBOX360和PS3平台，其中增加了5名新角色和6个新场景，同时家用机版中还有新的模式和新要素。

《究极街头霸王4》画册透露初代角色或将加入
CAPCOM方面在2013年6月的EVO格斗游戏大赛上正式公布了《究极街头霸王4》，系列新作中将收录五名新角色，目前已经公布了四名。而根据CAPCOM在2012年12月发售的《街头霸王》系列25周年原画集中，我们似乎看到了新角色的一些消息。
在这张样图中，我们首先可以看到来自《街头霸王3：三度冲击》中的角色Elena和Hugo，他们两个已经确定将在《究极街头霸王4》中登场，而在隆右侧的那个神秘秃头格外惹眼。目前有玩家看出来说他就是系列第一部作品中，那个被隆虐的秃头，当时它的造型还很模糊，但在很多玩家的同年心中他都有很高的低位。

CAPCOM宣布《终极街头霸王4》将会在2014年六月初登陆PS3和XBOX360，首先将会以一个《超级街头霸王4：街机2013版》的一个数字升级，八月份的时候升级才会登陆PC版的《超级街头霸王4》，升级价格PS3和XBOX360同为14.99美元。
同时完整版《终极街头霸王4》将会在8月份发售，PS3和XBOX360的数字版和零售版价格同为39.99美元。合装PC版需要等更长时间，PC数字版同样在8月发售，售价为29.99美元。

台北电玩展《终极街头霸王4》制作人特别访谈
台北电玩展《终极街头霸王4》的舞台活动之后，系列制作人小野义德和副制作人綾野智章接受了媒体的采访。说明了舞台活动上发布内容的一些细节。
关于第5个新角色，小野否定了网上流传的“烈”和“米卡”的猜测，说全世界猜到的有4个人。并提示说这个角色动作有些快，是女性，在街霸系列中出过场，但是没有被玩家操作过。
PS3上传动画功能方面，确定是在PS3上完成编码后在上传到YOUTUBE的，可以和玩家的账号绑定传到玩家的频道里，画质由机器自动设置。
本作新加入的“红FA”系统， 綾野说明这个可以自动多段防御的系统有向《街霸3.3》的BLOCKING致敬的意思。在3.3中使用红BLOCKING需要有高度的技巧，这个系统可以让一般玩家更容易上手。当前新作日本还在进行测试，针对玩家的建议，已经进行了不少调整，新角色的能力，新系统对气槽的消耗等平衡性方面还在调整。在公测
被问到CAPCOM的新引擎Panta Rhei会不会用到以后街霸的新作上时，小野说明新引擎是配合DEEP DOWN在开发，还没有对格斗游戏进行适配。DEEP DOWN完成之后能不能用来开发格斗游戏，又或者是用其他新的引擎，CAPCOM内部还在进行讨论。
小野说明，对于越来越多的游戏平台，开发者的压力不会变小。针对不同平台的不同客户，CAPCOM有针对平台的市场策略。DEEP DOWN就是针对PS4的用户的喜好，流行的服务来设计的。

《终极街头霸王4》第五名角色 冷艳杀手十二月
之前小野义德曾确认在《终极街头霸王4》中会增加五名新角色，而除了之前就公布过的雨果、艾莲娜、毒药和洛伦特之外，日前第五名角色正式公布，他就是警察维嘉手下以十二月份明明的亲卫队中的一员“十二月(Decapre)”。
在台北游戏展上小野义德透露，第五名新角色速度很快是女性，同时在系列之前的作品中登场过，这么一想这些特征和Decapre都非常的相似。系列作品中Decapre也并非以可操作角色登场过，熟悉Mugen的玩家可能会在一些同人作品中见到过。Decapre的招数和嘉米非常类似，甚至可以看做是嘉米的一个DLC服装，不过其打法和细节上与嘉米有着不同。

预告片主要展示本作加入的新要素：

Capcom today announced that the digital upgrade versions of Ultra Street Fighter IV will release across North America on June 3rd for PSN (PlayStation 3) and on June 4th from the Xbox Live Games Store (Xbox 360). On August 5th, the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 retail versions will be in stores, with the full digital bundle on PS3 available for download then too. Both the digital upgrade and full digital bundle for PC (Steam) will be out on August 8th.

In our continuing desire to ensure that USFIV is a game by the fans for the fans, we will be releasing the version 1.04 patch in October. This patch will address some issues that were pointed out by the community, add the delayed wake up option to the dummy in training mode and for our PC users, more improvements to the online experience.
The version 1.04 patch improves upon the version 1.02 patch released earlier this year by addressing more of the issues brought to our attention by our most diehard fans. Some of the fixes you can expect to see are the Decapre and Rolento changes introduced in the Ver B. patch reverted, as well as Cody’s Light Ruffian Kick once again causing a hard knockdown against airborne opponents as it did in AE 2012. There are more fixes being included, which we’ll disclose closer to the release date.
For those of you out there who desire to practice your setups in the face of delayed wakeup, I’m pleased to announce the addition of the delayed wake up dummy option in training mode. Now that this setting is available, I’m really eager to see how this will advance the game and if anyone will be able to create setups that account for both normal and delayed wakeups.
And lastly, for our PC players, we’ve heard the concerns you have voiced and have some fixes coming your way that should definitely improve your online experiences. For example, we noticed that when players were in the middle of matches, they were still getting pinged by those outside of the match, thereby creating slowdown. We’ve fixed it so that this will be no longer the case. Additionally, a few other connection fixes are going in as well, all of which should reduce the connectivity issues experienced by players.
We’re not stopping there however! In our ongoing effort to make sure that Ultra SFIV is the greatest version of SFIV yet, we bring you a completely new, completely free and most importantly completely fun version of your favorite 44 characters in Omega Mode!
For those wondering, Omega mode is a completely new mode in which every character has been modified and outfitted with new normal and special attacks, resulting in a refreshing take on the characters you’ve come to know and love over the last six years. As the primary goal for this mode was fun, we placed more emphasis on making the characters feel new, than on their balance. This means that strong, fan favorite attacks such as Ken’s Shinppu Jinrai Kyaku and Sagat’s Tiger Raid make their return while other characters such as Zangief gain new abilities, like being able to combo into his command throws.
Words however, don’t do this mode justice, so we’ve decided to show a quick video of the madness you can expect to see with in Omega Mode.
Now I know the next question that comes to mind is, “will this be playable online?” My answer to that is “it most definitely will be!” But as this mode is for fun, Omega mode will be restricted to unranked matches only. Additionally all official Capcom tournaments and Capcom Pro Tour affiliate tournaments will use the default Ultra balance, not Omega mode, as the tournament standard.

《终极快打旋风 4》PS4 独占移植版正式发表 完整收录所有追加下载服装
CAPCOM 在 12 月 6、7 两日在美国举办的「PlayStation Experience」活动中，宣布旗下畅销格斗游戏《终极快打旋风 4（Ultra Street Fighter IV）》将在 PS4 上推出新世代主机独占版。
《终极快打旋风 4》先前已推出过 PS3 与 Xbox 360 家用主机版以及 PC 版，本次发表的 PS4 版则是首度登陆新世代主机的版本。作为与索尼计算机娱乐（SCE）策略性结盟的一环，因此新世代主机版本将由 PS4 独占发行。除了基本内容之外，还会完整收录至今推出过的所有下载服装。

Ultra Street Fighter IV Hits PS4 on May 26th
Hello, fight fans! Are you ready to get your game on with Ultra Street Fighter IV for PS4? The amazing team at Other Ocean Interactive is putting the final touches on this fantastic version of the Capcom classic. I’d love to get it to you sooner, but honestly, we’re playing it too much, so you’ll just have to wait!
All the characters, all the levels, and all of the DLC that have been launched so far will be included in the PS4 version of the game. Also, a few of you hardcore Street Fighters out there said that there was minor input lag in the controls of Ultra Street Fighter IV for PS3. Well, don’t worry: we’ve eliminated it to make the PS4 edition the ultimate version on any platform, so it’ll be good to go for all your tournament needs!
We are aiming for the digital release of Ultra Street Fighter IV for PS4 on May 26th, 2015 at a price of $24.99. This would launch simultaneously in the Americas and Europe.
