Hi, 我想请问这里有人申请NUS吗 ? 有得到interview的 invitation 吗 ?

Edited at 3rd of May 2013

I went for the interview at 20th of April and 21st of April,in which 21st of April ,I sat for a written test.

The interview was interesting yet fun! Hope sincerely that I can become one of the NUS community in August! Keep my fingers cross!

Do share your experience,
1) Those who applied for NUS and not yet get notified about the interview/ admission
2) Those who applied for NUS and already went through the interview session
3) Those who applied for NUS and made it to become one of the NUS community

A few weeks ago? eh I thought the interview for faculty of law only held in April and May?

我申请的是Faculty of science的Food science and technology

上NUS网址check了
Law的interview应该是在4月20-21号

Yup, i went there a few weeks ago for interview

Faculty in law. You are shortlisted too for faculty in law? When is your interview btw?

Interviews are required for those courses? I am not sure either

so you are a graduate of Singapore Polytechnic?

就是很无奈每天等消息等没有..
3月等到现在..

我Nanyang Polytechnic毕业的..

Hi, 你好我是2012年的STPM leaver

我是用我的STPM 成绩申请的 (CGPA 4.0)
如果你想申请NUS,可以用A-level/ STPM or equivalent 来申请的

我是online申请的
如果你是用STPM 申请的话,我可以给你点意见

CGPA minimum : 3.5
MUET minumum : band 4 (200 marks)

基本上NUS 是用meritocracy 的系统除了一部分的critical subjects 比如说法律医学系等等

申请过后是要寄
-secondary school and high school examination transcript (SPM and STPM 成绩还有可以的话附上你在学校的考试成绩)
-birth certificate
-MUET transcript/certificate
-课外活动的certificate
-如果有疾病/有criminal case,需要把资料给NUS 的
-20 SGD 的application fee (可以用credit card/ bank draft 还,我是用CIMB的bank draft)

其实你可以选择用post 或者是online submit 你的document的

我是申请法律系的希望可以得到 TT
呃,基本上如果你要申请NUS 需要符合以下的 :
A score of at least B for all subjects, and MUET of 200 is required for candidates to make a competitive application
MUET 最少要band 4 with aggregated score 200 marks

帮你看了牙科要符合以下的 :
• Good ‘A’ Level results./ any international qualification with good results

• Good pass in Chemistry.

• Two other subjects, of which one must be Biology or Physics.

• And indicate Dentistry as first or second choice on the application.

Locals with International qualifications should have equivalent high school qualifications and overall good grades including good passes in Chemistry and either Biology or Physics.

基本上你先要考到很好的成绩还有考好的band for MUET, 这个让你有机会被shortlisted for interview session.

要通过interview 加上很好的成绩才能成功secure place in NUS. NUS的竞争很强, 所以你需要有很好的心理准备

你去了interview? 你的law course几时才能知道成绩?
通常NUS几时intake的?

照常理来说通常在5月中到6月就能知道成绩了

目前我还没有收到任何的通知突然感觉很失望耶.....我觉得应该是不能得了尤其是law, 很有竞争的一科..

多少都有点失望的真的..到了今天还是application processing ..没有机会了吧

我也是一样 O.O 很担心咧或者你PM我你的fb 可以吗? 如果都有机会到那边读书,有个照应

可是我看我的机会不大,因为law 通常很少位置给international applicants ...T.T

你应该有second choice 3rd...4th 吧?
是真的没听说过几个人进到nus law...

呃.. 只有2nd choice, BA o.o 话说如果appeal 可以appeal 我们之前没有填的科目吗? 想appeal for FASS

我还申请了很多其实＝＝

nus到现在还没reply弄到我不知道该怎样哈哈

有不过特别想进NUS 说真的o.o
我问过了目前appeal 的deadline 是6月3日我建议你先draft 好你的appeal which requires 1000 characters .

如果我们在6月3日过后才被reject 可以email给NUS 问他们怎样summit appeal..
因为international applicant 的admission 会在mid of May 到end of June release的

真的很希望知道我到底会不会得哈哈
